View Full Version : If there was no minimum age to play in the nba....

Its no secret that LeBron James is arguably the most physically gifted basketball player in NBA history. We all knew before he was even in high school that once he graduated he'd go #1 overall in the draft. I mean at 14 he was 6'2", really quick and already dunking.

If there was no minimum age to enter the NBA how young would LeBron have been drafted #1 overall? Whats the youngest he could have been a 1st round draft pick?

Would have been pretty cool to watch lebron at 15 crossing over MJ and throwing down.

He wouldn't of gone #1

Why would you want to see a 15 or 16 year old in the NBA?

Unless he figures the quality of play from most teams is already so awful we might as well see if we can't make it completely unwatchable.

Not really. clippersfan86, JesusWears24, and Longhornfan1234 have made a lot worse and dumb threads than this.

As for being perma'd? - Clearly.

Amak I agree that it'd be interesting to see. Don't listen to Lakers4sho. He talks as if he makes the calls here.

Not really interested in this thread but let me back it up with international players play in pro leagues as young as 14/15.

He probably would have gone #1 in 2002, as a 17 year old, right? It's not a horrible conversation... I've seen MUCH worse.

Where would he have gotten drafted in 2001, as a 16 year old? Lottery?

Sparky, where you been bro?!

With no minimum age, I would love to Hear Jeff Van Gundy on commentary:

JVG: Offensive foul?! That wasn't an offensive foul! That guy dove! What a Baby!

Breen: Um Jeff? That was a baby.

JVG: David Stern has to do something about this!

Also, if there's no age minimum on PSD, it should be only fair that it applies to the NBA. Look, half of our veterans are younger than Justin Beiber... JUSTIN ******* BEIBER!

Lebron actually tried declaring for the draft after his Junior year in HS but was unable to due to the rules. Would he have gone #1 then? Tough to call. Yao Ming went #1 in 2002, so I'd put Lebron at #2 ahead of Jay Williams and Mike Dunleavy.
