Thoughts?

I doubt Phil would even consider it. Lakers or Knicks for him or nothing. Dwight is possible even though if I were a Nets fan I wouldn't even want him anymore.

Blind speculation is fun.

Perhaps Dwight. Phil, not so much.

About a 5% chance that Phil Coaches the Nets, and even though I think Dwight will eventually be a Net, as a fan of the team for 15 or so years (I'm 19), I have to expect the worst.

If Phil comes back it will be with the Knicks. I think that's his "dream job". If he sees they can win a title in the next 2 years, he will go there.

The Nets would be very attractive for Phil, I'm not doubting that, but I think it would take the perfect situation for him to come back to coaching with any team.

Why would he go to the knicks? There players dont fit well at all. If he is fine with losing before the finals then maybe he goes there. I can see him going back to LA

And Deron isn't a fit for a triangle offense.

If you think a triangle would benefit Derons skill set you don't know what the Triangle offense is.

I honestly wouldn't care?

Dwight Howard is the only center in the league that fits the Triangle Offense and we do not have him and there is no indication he wants to be a Knick, so a trade would not happen.

It would be stupid for the Knicks to hire Phil Jackson because he's Phil Jackson and not with a proper roster to implement his system.

Besides, It's not going to happen. This is another ploy for the Nets to try and look to NY basketball fans to say "Oh, look we're here please leave the Knicks...Please!"

We already hear about the Nets going after Jeremy Lin. More media ploys to fuel their "rivalry" thing.

I can't. For what? A soft pau, and aging kobe, and an inconsistent bynum? These may be the same names, but they are no longer the same bunch they once were.

I think NJ is a more likely destination than LA. That being said, my money would be him not coming back next year.

The Nets already have a good coach. I would like to think Avery could give some wisdom, esp knowing he played with two of the best big men in the history of the game.

Lol did someone actually start a thread based on something tommy dee wrote??

I just can't figure this kid out. Is he a Net fan? Magic? Heat? Or simply just a bandwagoned knick hater?

So you have nothing to add to this? I'd love to hear the argument on how Williams is a good fit for the triangle. He's a great pg and being in a triangle would hold him back.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Bingo. I will never understand why people make accounts for the sole purpose of hating on a fan base. It seems like a ridiculous waste of time because more often than not, their opinion isnt taken seriously.

On topic, I doubt this story has any legs whatsoever. If anything, I think NJ is just driving up the price for the Knicks.

Seriously what makes me a knick hater, because I root for the Heat, and you are obviously mad because I made this thread,at least I posted a link that shows it is at least a rumor.I apologize if I offended Knick fans with this thread.

Phil wouldn't fit in Brooklyn due to the triangle offense. Dwight is feasible, Phil not so much.
