One of the more interesting questions of the summer is: How much would you pay JaVale McGee?

He is a restricted free agent and Nuggets GM Masai Ujiri is already trying to scare off potential suitors suggesting they will match offers for him. Ujiri said Thursday he plans to re-sign McGee this summer.

What is McGee worth? DeAndre Jordan’s new deal for this season starts at $10 million. Joakim Noah’s new deal started at $10 million.

At his best, McGee can play with those guys. But his best comes only sporadically and his worst makes coaches pull their hair out.

How much will you pay for athleticism and potential? Going to be interesting to see.

Hell yes it's a good signing. And he'll be working with Shaq this summer, so he'll be a much better player next season.

I think that money could be better spent elsewhere. I'm sure Houston will up the price too.

Of course it's a good signing. He's young and needs to grow and that should be the expectation of him for the kind of money he signs for, with the Nuggets or someone else.

Before the Nuggets I would say no but after the playoffs I think the kid can become something special

Someone will offer 13 mil a year just to see if they will match

Saying you will match offers is the dumbest thing offer, a lottery team will say okay match this!

No more than $7M/Yr IMO

The team that offers 13 would lose because Denver wouldn't match that lol that team would have to pay him that 13 so they'd be dumb.

Yes. Very good move.

Even though he's a dumbass, he's still a 7' freak of an athlete. You gotta take a risk on him because there's just too much potential there and big men with his coordination/hops/shot-blocking aren't easy to come by. He's got a loooong way to go, but i'm confident George Karl can get the best out of him.

any deal worth more then 9 mil a year is overpaying
