I think the pacers can steal one, but will need their A game. Keep it close until the end and see what happens. Don't let the heat kill you in the end by going to the line every other possession.

You know what I hate, when undersized midgets try to jump when the post player is taking a hook. Your NOT going to block it genius, just stand your ground and dont foul. Block his vision instead. Turiaf doesnt know this

ManRam
05-15-2012, 07:20 PM
He defense hasn't been good...

But, every single one of Indy's rotation players might be better than Miami's 3rd best player right now...probably not quite, but certainly all 5 starters, and probably Collison.

The Pacers are showing no respect for the screener on the pick and rolls right now. All they're doing is clogging and blocking Wade/LeBron. SOOOOO much easier to defend without a scoring threat down low or setting the screen.

As I say that LeBron finds Turiaf off a P&R.

ChiTownPacerFan

Hubie Brown in game one: "The biggest challenge for the Pacers is going to be staying out of foul trouble because they play such a physical brand of defense."

Steve Kerr in game two: "The biggest strength for the Heat is that they can take it to the next gear by playing such a physical brand of defense."

This has nothing to do with the players, and everything to do with the officials.

To me James Jones is better then Shane and Mike Miller I don't get why he never plays.

His defense and rebounding isn't as good as Battier and Miller, but it's not like he's a garbage defender and everyone will automatically score against him. He deserves more playing time.

It's almost as big of a joke as the hype Paul George gets.

No throwing your body at the defenders and pretending they pushed you is. I think my post was pretty clear. You need to learn how to read properly.

Body contact is part of the aggressive game. When you play aggressive and attack the basket their will be contacts and fouls. May be you need to understand the game better.

Because he played the Raptors. There was definitely some talk going on between him Lebron and Wade the summer before. Plus, he was medically cleared to play the end of the year before becoming a free agent and he chose not to, even though we were still in the playoff hunt.

I blame BC just as much though. He should have just told him that he needs to make a decision by the trading deadline. At least we could have got something for him.

But on a completely non personal level i also dislike him for accepting such a limited role. He really is a third wheel on the Heat, but he definetly has the talent to be the second main piece of a contending team.

I understand Lebron and Wade, they get just as much shots as they used to before. But Bosh clearly took the third role and has limited himself by being primarily a jump shooter. The guy used to have a sick drive, could consistently put up 25 and 12. I understand if he was old and took a smaller role, but a guy in his prime limiting himself like that. It's just a dumb move.

Heat had some problems scoring late in the Knicks series too. They have legitimate weaknesses offensively if Miller isn't playing well, even with Bosh playing. They need to force turnovers to win games, and even then I think some of those wins will be rather low scoring, they're just not that deep offensively in the half court.

Ugly. Hard not to just iso all the time when there's literally not a third option...but this offense looks so bad.

Serious,y the Pacers 1-6/7 are better than the Heat players from 3 and on. Pathetic effort from everyone on the Heat. The supporting cast has been bad, but it's not like LeBron and Wade are having good games either. I mean, again, it's much easier to defend LeWade when there's nothing else you need to worry about...

I mean, the Heat are 1-11 from three. It's so easy to clog the lanes and stop LeBron and Wade from getting into the paint when the shooters are clanking everything.

2 vs. 5, for sure.
