I feel when Bynum and Pau are on the same page those 2 guys make the best combo. But I gotta say, Zach and Marc just seem like they've played together their whole life. They both play beautifully together. Who do you guys think makes the best combo??

When they both show up, Bynum and Gasol. I think the poll options are the right ranking.

Bynum/Gasol. We can critique them all we want, but they're the two best.

Bynum is the best C on the list and Gasol is the best PF on the list. Nuff said.

Sidenote: Jefferson/Millsap is the most underrated combo.

Where is Ryan Anderson / Dwight Howard?

When Pau and Bynum come to play then there's no better duo in the NBA. Their inconsistencies are what is holding them back

Replace them with Dwight and Anderson and the Lakers would have probably won this series in 4 games

We haven't seen this combo at work yet...

Andrew Bogut.

David Lee.

I'l admit, I didn't want to come across as a homer...but Dwight/Ryno ABSOLUTELY deserve to be on this list. We're talking about the best center in the NBA and a PF that had an amazingly impactful season.

Any given night, I'll take Pek-Love, but on the nights they come to play I'll take Bynum-Gasol.

No Bynum and Pau. No Lakers. They are the most important picture for that team to win

Dwight and Anderson probably should have been mentioned.

Also I feel Amare and Tyson if 100% healthy could have been very good.

I'll take Z Bo and Gasol. Even when they aren't having a good game, they still bring the effort. Imagine Kobe, Zbo and Marc Gasol. That Denver series would've been over in 5.

i like zach and marc when they are both locked in. but the two skilled 7 footers is such a fantastic advantage, z bo is undersized. pau/bynum.

Gasol was in no way better than Kevin Love at PF this year. Love got MVP votes; Gasol nothing.

When Bynum and gasol play like men it's them and it's not close
When they play like girls it's randolph/gasol

easily Bynum and Gasol. When they are focused, and playing well, Kobe is barely needed they are so dominant.

Bynum and Gasol.

I'm glad to see Pek and Love up there though! I was thinking it when I read the thread title, but I'm surprised they were noticed I guess.

I like Bynum and Gasol right now but I went with the homer pick and picked Love and Pek.. I do think however that as Love obviously only gets better and better and Pek is a healthy Pek at the start of next season they are as good as anyone.

If your bigman tandem can't get you to the playoffs, then they don't deserve to be mentioned as the best.

I stick by Randolph and Gasol.

Watching Pau and Bynum in the postseason, they're probably the two worst players at getting back on defense. Denver took the Lakers to 7 because they ran the Lakers out the building and OKC beat them in 5 using the same tactics. Nearly every time on a transition basket from the Nuggets and Thunder, Bynum and Gasol were not even in the picture.

good point. pau is a bit slow footed at the 4. bynum just loafs. all those young guys just flying up and down the court.

sessions in particular for me was pathetic in that series as well. but this hurt them, too. who do they flip?
