Dude is only 20 years and really impressed me this series. His numbers would have been better this year had he played more minutes.

He's always going to have to compete with Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Lamarcus Aldridge, and Kevin Durant for a spot. Probably gets in at least once though, if he can work on his offense.

The kid's a stud. Not sure if he's a future all star but he's going to be a damn good player in the future. Utah should trade Al Jefferson for a wing or PG. They'd be set for a while. Millsap-Favors is such a good big combo down the road

I have an illogical and unexplainable love for Derrick Favors.

I think this guy has everything it takes to be an absolute star in this league. He only needs more PT.

I might be biased, but I love, love, love Favors' game.

Everything that Ebbs said. Favors is going to be a freaking monster on both ends of the floor. He'll definitely get a few all star nod for the center position(which is where he should be playing).

Anyone else still think he should've been the 2nd pick? Imagine Philly with him instead of Turner

He's going to be a great great player one day, he will definitely be an all-star at least once.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing isn't it? Many thought Favors could have been the next Kevin Garnett however there were also many who thought he was the next Joe Smith. IMO they were all wrong and he's going to be the first Derrick Favors but Turner was the right choice at the time and I firmly believe that.

Cousins and Monroe have both developed into the type of players that the 76ers could use as well (I believe we'd get Monroe to buy into our defensive philosophy not so much with Cousins however) but coming into the draft Turner was the "sure" pick and the right choice for our organization. We were possibly going to move Iggy for a big or more draft picks and we already had Elton (an unmovable contract but still someone we expected to have a bounce back season) under contract so taking a PF (all 3 of these players were seen as PFs coming into the draft) may not have been the best choice.

still pissed we traded him... only thing he really needs is a better post game and a jumper

Favors should really become a great player next season. Utah needs to trade Al Jefferson.

Favors needs to work on not committing so many silly fouls and creating more of a polished post up game.

In Canada, we spell his name Favours.

If he ever gets good playing time. He's stuck behind Jefferson and Milsap. Unless one of them is moved, no way Favors gets the minutes he needs to become an all star. Like everyone else said, if the Jazz were smart they'd trade him for a great wing/point guard. Remember they still got the developing Kanter too that needs more playing time.

Since you're basing it on potential Cousins would be the correct pick.

I heard the Rockets might be okay with trading Lowry for a big since Kevin McHale wants a legitimate post threat. Big Al for Lowry + filler would be solid, especially with the emergence of Goran Dragic.

Jazz should trade Millsap and Al Jef for some picks this summer. It's so easy to trade big men. They will def. get some talent.

Time to start Kanter and Favors

He looks like he could be a future allstar, it will depend on his development though.

I wouldn't say that hes a future all star player just yet. But he does have pontiental to be a good player in the league. I say after 2 to 3 years from now Derrick Favors will get his chance to start for the Jazz. The Jazz then will eventually trade either Al Jefferson or Paul Milsap to make space for Derrick Williams at power foward. Derrick Favors has been a project pick from day 1 after being drafted by the Nets and it's going to take time for him to develop his game.
