Where do you think these guys end up. We know Terry is looking for a big pay day, but Cuban won't give it to him since he's trying to get D-Will.

Where do you think the veteran J-Kidd, who maybe has 2 yrs left, and Jason Terry, one of the best 6th men out there, end up next yr?

put them both on the bobcats.

Kidd has mentioned in the past that he'd be open to finishing his career with the Nets if Deron ends up replacing him in Dallas. Terry I can see coming off the bench for any of the top contenders.

Jet deserves a big pay day, I doubt a contender can afford him.

Terry may be looking for a big payday, but I don't know where he expects to find one.

he's also going onto 35 and a mediocre point guard / short shooting guard.

If he wants a payday, fine, but he's not going to have too many options.

If he is willing to go for a cheap contract for a title, he'll have plenty of options.

I hope Kidd comes back. He left on such bad terms maybe his return could repairs some of the broken bridges.

Glad these guys got their rings. Especially Kidd. I think Terry will stay with Dallas, Kidd might retire or return to the Nets.

Hearing Jason Kidd isn't interested in playing for a vets minimum or small exception. If he doesn't get a mid-level type offer, he'll quit..

Kidd: NJ (Return) or MIA (If they don't get Nash, could serve as tutor to chalmers/cole as well as hunt for a second ring if they don't draw Nash).

Terry: For some reason I see either Boston (Rondo-Bradley, Allen-Terry solidifies back court (with Allen also able to play SF when Pierce needs rest) or LA (Back-up to Sessions/Kobe.. as long as they don't get Odom back).

Jason Kidd showed for sure in game 4 that he still has it. He obviously won't be re-signed until Deron Williams and such re-sign, sign elsewhere, etc. I think numerous contenders could still use Kidd.

Jason Terry won't get this huge payday. He's 35 years old. I think he ends up re-signing with the Mavericks.

On a regular basis? Not.

Retire.

Kidd will retire.

Terry is 50/50 on returning to the Mavs.

For Kidd it depends on where Nash and Dwill go, I could see him going to Miami or New York. Both teams are in need of a veteran PG with enough respect around the league to be trusted to control the ball.

Terry I could see going to a low seed/fringe playoff team like Utah or Minny if he leaves Dallas because they're more likely to pay him closer to his asking price. Minny needs a wing scorer, even though he's undersized at the 2 he's a way better option than ridnour, plus him and Barrea were a really good 1 2 punch off the bench in the back court in dallas. IDK just purely speculation. I honestly think he resigns with dallas.

You can't tutor mediocrity. As far as fit, Kidd isn't worth it for Miami unless he wants a paycut.

I think Chicago would make great sense for Terry.

I'll take Terry on the Lakers for some much needed bench scoring and a back up SG please and thank you. Not gonna pay a 35 year old though so lets make a deep playoff run and attract him for less money....

A deep playoff run.... crap we got OKC next

Terry will be a 6 man on any title contender. Maybe Kidd retires? Dallas needs some younger guys so I think it's stupid for them to resign him

I wouldn't mind the Kings picking up Kidd to help tutor Thomas, Reke, Thornton, Jimmer. I doubt he would come to Sacramento though.

lol Damn, I forgot about Chicago! He would be great for you guys coming off the bench as the combo guard. Since Rose is likely to miss some of next year too, and when he comes back, I would assume that Thibs brings him back slowly (25-30mins per game at the most), he would get a ton of time off the bench, and could win another sixth man of the year.

If Deron re-signs with Brooklyn, Kidd will back him up. He talked about it last night actually.

I could see Jet in New York.

as for terry, i hate him but if he wants the min, then maybe

Neither is getting a lot of money. Kidd is a corpse at this point, and Terry is a guy who isn't a PG, isn't a SG, and needs to have the proper surroundings to be effective at this stage.

How much do you guys think Terry would get??
6M?? Around there??
He's got his title already I'm sure now he'll look and go to where the money's at even if its the Bobcats or Hornets.

My predict is if Deron to Dallas happens, Kidd & Terry stay in Dallas. If not, Kidd to Nets, Terry to Heat or Lakers/Clippers.

I have their very weird feeling that DWill stays with the Nets (because I strongly believe Dwight gets traded there this summer), as a result, I think the Mavs go after Steve Nash and give him a 3 yr deal, and then I see the Lakers use their amnesty clause on Steve Blake, maybe clear some more capspace by getting rid of McRoberts expiring, and then go ahead and add both J-Kidd and Terry to their bench. :D

He is a shooting guard. One of the things a shooting guard is supposed to be good at is shooting, thats why shooting is in the name. Terry is a great shooter.

Hasn't Jason Terry made 10 million a year the past few years? Seems like his pay day already came. I think he stays in Dallas whether Deron Williams signs there or not, but it'll come after Williams makes his decision.

Jason Terry would be an insanely good fit for the Chicago Bulls. That needs to happen, he is exactly what they needs for next season and beyond.

I am also in HUGE favor of JAsonKidd coming back to the Nets and being part of the Brooklyn movement. It would be too perfect. Hopefully it's to back up Deron Williams...

I see Terry returning regardless Deron chooses us or the Nets. He isn't going to find any more than the MLE in free agency and Cuban imo will match that. Jet is too important to this team and is an all time Maverick great. Would be too weird seeing him in another uniform.

I think the Mavs amnesty clause Haywood, giving us around 28 million to spend I believe. If we can find someone to take Roddy B and Dominique Jones we could have about 30 to spend. Which would be plenty to sign Deron and a decent center and resign Terry and Delonte West.
