Not sure if the jazz can win one game in this series.
SA is just too much.

I think the jazz will win one game on their homecourt. This series will be over in 5

This is the game that will worry me. I definitely anticipate it to be a much closer battle. If we can withstand the crowds early energy and pull away with one that'd be great. Can't give this young Jazz team any signs of ilfe

jazz will play tough at home expect them to get 1 but ultimately lose in 5

I think Jazz win a game whether its 3 or 4, but I hope we can jump on them early and take the crowd out of it and not let them get into it.

It's a done deal, the Jazz haven't shown anything in this series. Before I was giving the Jazz 1 game but with everything I've seen in these 2, I now say its a sweep. But we'll see how they play today

Jazz have been pathetic, win or lose I just want to see a little fight in them.

It's Salt Lake City. From past experiences, I can honestly say that like always, the refs will be intimidated by the rowdy Utah crowd and swallow their whistles, and the Jazz team will get away with over-excessive physical play. This was notoriously well documented in the Jerry Sloan era, where the refs allowed the Jazz players to "muck-up" the game as Phil used to say.

Well I think it's obvious considering nobody wants to go down 3-0 as nobody has come back from such a deficit.

Best start possible tbh.. Slowing the pace, and keeping the crowd in check.

They want Parker to take jumpers instead of driving, I think Hayward has a better chance of forcing that than Harris.

I dont mean to disrespect but what is up with this home crowd? It seems like a regular season game as if the fans think/know they have no chance. There was more of a playoff feel in the second to last game of the season when they clinched the 8th seed vs the suns.

It's a block party on Tim's block. Mr Milsap you are invited

Haha the Spurs braodcast just mentioned a pretty useless but kinda interesting little fact if you don't know basketball. All time matchups between Al Jefferson and Tim Duncan is 23-1 in favor of Duncan.

Cause from the tip Timmy drew 2 fouls and we jumped out to a 6-0 lead early on. They were fired up, but it defused quickly. I fully expect them to go nuts at some point

Refs are blowing their whistles a lot this game though, hope thats not a sign of things to come. Don't want to see a foul called every possession slowing the game up.

Joshtd1
05-05-2012, 10:58 PM
If you call that body foul on Splitter on the previous play for Milsap that needs to be the same call for Splitter since Favors got him with body.. but was a nice block regardless. Just give him a pumpfake next time, he's jumping for everything

I will say this, Utah's will win this thing if TP/Manu continue their lackluster play. They're out-rebounding us, forcing turnovers, and only up 1 while TP/Manu are struggling.

It would be nice for one of the games to be called even. Duncan gets away with all the contact in the world on Al Jefferson yet Tony Parker can't be touched. So much for home court advantage for Utah.

San Antonio is the better team, but the 4th quarter was called like it was being played in Texas.

Oh man you guys have a +19 FTA advantage in this series, not a single game where the Spurs got more FTA and that is against a relatively foul prone team in the Jazz and a team that doesn't really foul a lot in the spurs.

Come on the Refs are not even a part of the reason the Jazz have no chance.

Spurs called for 20 fouls, shot 17-22 from the line. Jazz 18 fouls called, 14-26. Looks about even to me, even with the Jazz getting a few more.

Game one Jazz called for 24 fouls, shot 23-30 FTA's. Spurs 18 fouls called, 20-28 FTA,

Game two: Jazz called for 16 fouls, 20-23 from the line. Spurs called for 18 fouls, shot 10-10 from the line.

So please don't talk about wishing the officiating was even. Jazz have been called for 2 more fouls but have shot 19 more FT's.
