No offense to Orlando or INDY, but it's just not an intriguing series. There's no superstars to showcase and ESPN isn't hyping this game that much either. Plus, we all know that the winner of this series gets the pleasure of getting steamrolled in the next rd by Miami.

(No offense man, it is what it is).

Yeah it must really be boring watching David West go to work.

He's still an effective player, just not the same go-to dependable guy at the 4 position that he used to be before the injuries in NOLA.

And I also think CP3 made him look better than he actually was.

That's why I said "I can't say I'm surprised."

Also, I think you're underestimating how good of a series IND-MIA will be. If you haven't watched a team that much you can't just assume stuff about them.

Indiana is a good team, but you can only get so far in the playoffs without a superstar (unless you're the 04 Pistons which were a defensive juggernaut on steroids).

And the fact that you don't have superstars, you won't get those calls from the officials that Miami usually gets.

Am I pulling for Indy to upset Miami? Hell yeah!

Do I think they will. No, I think Miami in 5. Although there may be 1 or 2 close games, you guys are going up against Stern's darlings. LeBron will flop and Tyler Hansborough may be suspended for 2 games or something. Trust me, it won't be an enjoyable series for Pacers fans to watch.

Indy doesn't have a ton of experience or guys on that team who can stress the importance of closing out a team. It's not unusual to see a young team struggle closing out a team. Especially a team that's in full desperation mode...

miami's only real challenge imo is the celtics. the knicks are going to get swept, the pacers will get swept. if the sixers or bulls someway get in the east conference finals they will get swept. I think the hawks may be able to steal a game but 2 if they get lucky. I think the celtics actually have a chance, but i still take miami in 7. the finals will be the heats real test.

I think philly will give boston a great challenge, i see philly-boston going 6 or 7.

philly won 2 of 3 this season vs boston so i see it being competitive.

I would love philly to make boston work hard before the ECF

also, duhon was a -15 in a 2point loss lol

Cal827
05-05-2012, 05:42 PM
Yeah, we might as well just hand Miami the Eastern conference title again lol... Indiana is struggling to defeat an Orlando Magic team minus Dwight.. I may not like the guy, but he is so valuable to that team's defense.

The Indiana-Miami Series will probably play out like: Miami wins the first two games, Indiana shocks them in game 3... Miami murders them in games 4 and 5. I love what Indiana has been doing, but they are still a year or so away from being real contenders (Next year possibly, depending on Rose)

Yeah, definately should have won. Indy was choking in the 4th big time. I thought there were some sketchy calls u don't usually see at the end of games as well that didn't help the Magic but either way they were in a great position to win.

What everyone is saying about the Heat/Pacer matchup is exactly what people said about the Bulls/Pacers series last year. I guess will just have to see

Exactly. I think this team likes to be the underdogs. The fact that Orlando had nothing to lose and were putting up a great fight made this series pretty tough. We were not supposed to even challenge the Bulls whatsoever last year like the Magic weren't supposed to challenge us at all. I think the Pacers/Heat series will be great and people shouldn't use this series as a preview. The Pacers like to challenge the better teams in the league.
