I got New York in a 93-89 shocker. When Bosh is putting up 15-20 a game he is an integral part of the Heat. If we can steal this one, that'd be pretty cool. Plus, now Melo gets to put up 35 shots hah......****.

Without Amare,Lin and Shumpert, if the Knicks win this one, they have heart for sure.

even without BOSH, the knicks have no answer for the heat's offense, where miami thus far has had the answer for the knicks. of course there will be a surge by the knicks playing at home but at the end of the day wade/lbj love MSG the heat now have the "others" playing decent so that spells another lost for the knicks and losing amare isnt a good thing, no matter what people may say. he still accounts for some offense

I think Miami's bench and role players have to prove they can play in a big game on the road in a tough atmosphere. Lebron/Wade will not and cannot win without others stepping up.

As NBATV’s David Aldridge first reported this morning, Chris Bosh is heading back to New York to be with the team for Game 3, after his son Jackson was born at 3 a.m.

Erik Spoelstra called Bosh a “game-time decision,” but that’s just the coach being coy.

Barring something entirely unexpected, Bosh will start tonight.

if we win I rather them be at full strength, if we get swept so be it we werent good enough, I dont wan to win 1 game and have Dolan jump the gun and start handing out contracts over 1 win, I m still not sold on Woodson at all 20 or so games is not enough to give him a contract especially when the guy used to get ripped in Atlanta in every playoff series against the Magic due to his lack of ability to adapt.....so with that said heres to a good game and may the best team win

Or he can just play and try to win the game for his son, which would make it even more special. His son can grow up and tell his friends at school that the day he was born, his dad flew from NY to Miami and back to NY to play in an NBA playoff game to help his team win.

True, but if he helps the Heat sweep New York, then he'll get a nice little break where he can be at home with his son before the second series starts. Chicago and Philly will probably at least go to 6 games.

Seriously, though, I don't know how anyone can realistically pick the Knicks to win this game without Amare, Shumpert or Lin. The Heat would have to play atrocious basketball, because even with Anthony playing 45 minutes and putting up 30 in game 2, they still lost by double digits.

I'm so convinced that the Heat win, I'd be willing to bet $50 that they win by double digits barring injury or Spo resting his starters late.

Hahaha.... My bad. I had the series mixed up in my head. I still think Bosh should play basketball tonight if his son and wife are healthy and happy. The guy makes millions of dollars so that his family can live a comfortable lifestyle and he'll have plenty of time to enjoy being a father to his son.

It's fortunate that the birth happened and he was able to make it there in time for it. That would have sucked if the birth happened during or right before a game and he was unable to make it...

Edit: Also, should he miss this game and the Knicks win, they could have Amare and Lin potentially back by game 4. If this thing goes to 7, that's less time he gets to spend with his family.

The series won't make it back to Miami. LeBron and Wade have demoralized the Knicks thus far, and both absolutely love playing in the Garden. Each will have 25+ tonight relatively easily, and unless the Knicks rain 3s, which will be awfully hard with the way they haven't been able to play defense and start a transition offense game, this one won't be close. I'm thinking 105-95 Miami wins it, but a comfortable 15 point margin throughout the 2nd half.

Knicks will go up by 5-7 points on a wild third quarter run but the Heat will ultimately regain the lead and win by double digits.

I have never seen LeBron have a bad game in the Garden and without Shumpert there to give Wade a hard time, Wade will probably put up monster numbers too.

LeBron: 31, 9,6
Wade: 32, 5,5

Carmelo: 34 on 12-26 with 8 rebs and 4 assists

Heat- 103
Knicks-92

Novak and JR would have to be lights out and Chandler would have to have a major impact in the paint for the Knicks to win. They would need to play a great game and somehow find a way to slow LeBron and Wade down. Too much to ask for especially with Shumpert out. Lin would also help them with penetration but he's obviously not playing either.

I kinda thing Amar'e out with injury is a good thing for New York. However, they still won't win.

-The Garden will be rocking though
