I'd expect the physicality to go up a little tonight...

Jazz center Al Jefferson said the goal was “not to hurt him or nothing like that,” but rather to dissuade Parker from barreling into the paint and punishing Utah with either an acrobatic layup or kicking out to a 3-point shooter.

“The playoffs is physical. We just can’t let him feel like he can come down in that paint any time he ready,” Jefferson said.

"He's a challenge all around. He does a great job of getting in the paint, they run great stuff for him, and we've got to try and make him play a little more defense, try and limit his transition opportunities, limit his layups and maybe give him a hard foul or two."

“It’s not the first time someone has said that,” Parker said. “My answer is always going to be the same: I’m going to keep coming.”

Hayward wins us the game, no doubt.

Remember during the last Lakers game when the announcer kept asking "is there a better passing big than Pau Gasol?" He should watch Boris Diaw every once in a while.

Diaw is such a huge pick up, great fit for this team.

I called it as well on 2-22 in the Spurs forum that Boris Diaw would be a starter come playoff time (Yeah i'm giving myself a high five for it) :D

I think if I'm Utah, I try to slow down the pace and feed the bigs, just like the Lakers vs Denver series. Pound it into Jefferson, Milsap and Favors, let them beat up Duncan down low, have guys like Hayward and Harris drive to the basket and get the Spurs bigs into foul trouble. Jazz must play bully-ball against Spurs to win this game tonight.

Great first half. Green/Leonard stepping up after their poor performance in Game 1. They'll need that confidence heading into a tough Utah arena this weekend.

The series hasn't shifted to Utah yet. Don't jump the gun lol.

I don't think Utah is bad, they just lack the perimeter players to hang with the Spurs offensively. If they can convince Steve Nash to sign there and maybe add a 3-point shooter they're gonna be a real threat. Right now they're just a little young and incomplete. Love what they're building though.

For real. Utah is a tough *** place to play. They were one of the best home teams.

Nash is going to Miami tho, otherwise I would agree.

It's because the refs get scared of the fans there, swallow their whistle, and let the Jazz get overphysical on basically every play. They were notorious for that in the Jerry Sloan era.

Utah has a solid team but they just lack guys from the 1-3 to beat us. And their bigs aren't offensive oriented enough outside of Al Jeff and I guess Milsap to an extent to really make us pay that much either.

There's a better chance of Lamar Odom winning Most Improved than there is of the Jazz beating the Spurs.

That sounds about right

But I will say - if there's one team I'm not gonna get that mad at losing to its the Spurs. Always have respected them, love Duncan.

Spurs just toyed with the Jazz tonight, embarrasing to see. Jazz did try to play till the end though, props
