Luis Mendoza, RHP
0-2, 6.92 ERA
Mendoza has had one good start and two not-so-good starts. He held the A's to one run in 5 2/3 innings but, in his last two starts, he's given up 13 runs (nine earned) on 19 hits. Biggest problem has been his sinker getting flat and hittable.

Josh Tomlin, RHP
1-1, 4.86 ERA
In his last start, Tomlin went toe to toe with ace Felix Hernandez and turned in one of his best career starts for the Indians. The right-hander limited the Mariners to one run on five hits with seven strikeouts and no walks over eight inning.

Ryan Vogelsong, RHP
0-1, 3.38 ERA
Vogelsong matched a career high with eight strikeouts in his last start, but needed a late San Francisco rally to get a no-decision. The right-hander is 2-3 with a 5.40 career ERA against Cincinnati.

Homer Bailey, RHP
1-2, 3.86 ERA
Bailey earned his first win of the season his last time out, allowing one earned run and walking none in seven innings against the Cubs. Bailey has faced the Giants four times in his career, going 1-0 with a 6.35 ERA.

Hector Noesi, RHP
1-2, 9.49 ERA
The 25-year-old has been either really good or really bad in three starts, sandwiching two rough outings around an eight-inning scoreless gem. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings Friday against the White Sox, however, giving up six hits and six runs.

Rick Porcello, RHP
1-1, 6.32 ERA
Porcello recorded only three outs in his last start against the Rangers, as the 23-year-old sinkerballer was tagged for eight earned runs on 10 hits. His career numbers -- a 3.16 ERA and 3-1 record -- suggest he'll bounce back vs. the Mariners.

Jerome Williams, RHP
1-1, 7.71 ERA
Williams bounced back after a rough season debut, giving up one run through the first six innings vs. Baltimore before a two-out, two-run homer in the seventh on Friday. He threw first-pitch strikes to 19 of the 28 batters he faced.

Matt Moore, LHP
0-1, 5.12 ERA
Moore held the Twins to three runs over 6 1/3 innings on Friday but came away with a no-decision. This will be Moore's fifth career start, and seventh appearance, and his second career start at Tropicana Field. He has not faced the Angels.

Ricky Nolasco, RHP
2-0, 3.93 ERA
Fresh off his second win of the season, Nolasco is two shy of matching Dontrelle Willis' franchise record of 68. The right-hander is 66-51 lifetime after he beat the Cubs. Nolasco is 5-7 against the Mets, 1-1 at Citi Field.

Jon Niese, LHP
2-0, 2.89 ERA
Niese has made three consecutive quality starts, making him the team's most dependable starter thus far. He also tossed a quality start in his only game against the Marlins last season, holding them to two runs over seven innings.

Drew Hutchison, RHP
1-0, 8.44 ERA
Hutchison picked up the win in his Major League debut against the Royals last time out. He allowed five runs over 5 1/3 innings -- including two home runs -- but he kept the game within striking distance for the Toronto offense.

Brian Matusz, LHP
0-3, 7.98 ERA
The left-hander is trying to break a 12-game losing streak, dating back to last season. Matusz has been improving in his last two starts, pitching into the sixth inning.

Felix Doubront, LHP
0-0, 3.94 ERA
Doubront was strong against the Yankees on Saturday, leaving with a 9-1 lead. The Sox bullpen gave it up in a 15-9 loss, but that didn't detract from the lefty's six innings of one-run ball and seven strikeouts.

Philip Humber, RHP
1-0, 0.63 ERA
Humber's first career complete game also became just the 21st perfect game thrown in Major League history, accomplished on Saturday over the Mariners. Humber takes a stretch of 29 straight batters retired into his next start.

Edwin Jackson, RHP
1-1, 4.26 ERA
Jackson's last outing was the antithesis of his previous start, when he pitched a two-hitter against the Reds. On Thursday night, Jackson pitched five innings and allowed five runs on seven hits.

Edinson Volquez, RHP
0-2, 4.30 ERA
Volquez, still looking for his first win with the Padres, took a two-hit shutout into the seventh inning of his last start against the Phillies, but he gave up three runs. Walks have been an issue (15 in 23 innings), but he's mostly pitched well.

That ball hit by Smoak was just smashed finally 3-0 M's although Noesi is pitching so this could get ugly for the M's.

Man the Angels are just spiraling out of control right now. Pujols is doing absolutely nothing. I think I totally overrated the Angels.
