Sabathia with 300 wins... that's a scary thought. I think wins have value to an extent, alone they aren't valuable stats... idk how id feel about Sabathia with 300 wins

Probably the best shot out of anybody. How many years does he have left on his contract, 5? With the Yankees offense that should get him within striking distance at age 36. If he has longevity he will get it.

He's signed through 2016 and averages about 20 wins a season with the Yanks. We'll say he wins 16 (he'll regress most likely as he ages) on average from this year until '16 and that would put him at just under 260..he has a chance if he pitches into his late 30s

which is very much an if, since he has the body type to break down very quickly

He has been durable, he is only 31 and more than half way there, he pitches for the right team and knows how to get deep into games, and i would think the fact that it is a feat that is becoming more and more out of reach in today's game he has to be motivated as the only guy that can realistically make a run at 300...But dang, he still has a ways to go and will need some good fortune.....possibly a team might be tempted to move him into the bullpen and his later years as a Arthur Rhodes type, he will probably fight that tho with 300 in sight.

close but no cigar imo. It is really tough in this day and age to get 300

CC, Cylander, and Felix have shots imo. Kershaw probably will too.

The way Ivan Nova is going he already has it printed in the record books.

Not sure about Felix, he'll need to be on a better team to get the wins. Though Seattle looks pretty good on paper, maybe they'll pick it up. 300 wins is such a finicky accomplishment to get to. You need a consistently good team, sufficient offense, and of course the stuff and durability. Sadly, I don't see any pitchers these days having the durability factor. Who knows though, maybe they'll all win 300.

I think he'll come extremely close but will end up falling short.
