i think matt cain pitching vs reds is pretty good, hes working on a 19 game scoreless streak and has only given up 4 base runners in 18 innings

I kinda thought KC would be improved this year with all their good young hitters. Guess they're still waiting for the young pitching to show up too.

KC seems like they'll never improve :laugh2:

Even with a great farm system. Hopefully the dodgers can continue the great start tonight against the Braves.

This Adam Wainwright has been missed.

Just as a snap shot

3.13 xFIP
9.88 ERA thus far on the season.

Of course, three games, xFIP and ERA are both basically worthless.

Really hope the Cards game doesn't come down to this gift run they got in the first inning on an awful call.

And I mean, he missed it badly

Good baseball porn today with Santana, Johnson and Darvish.

I don't want to sound like a bitter Cards fan, but that game was taken from us by the umps.

He was out at home for the first Cubs run in the first (and I mean clearly out)

And Campana was out at second in the 10th, and he was clearly out.

Both were really bad calls.

Greene should have still made that play that ended the game, but we should have scored more, but I don't like game being decided by the umps.

I didn't see DeJesus touch the plate on that play nor did I see Molina tag him. DeJesus did end up touching the plate eventually so I would say he was safe

They did botch that call at second though.

He got the tag down and Dejesus completely missed the plate.
