I'll call it right now, Knicks won't move up to 6th seed. Any combination of two Magic wins or Knicks losses keeps them from moving up (with 4 games apiece remaining) Basically Knicks have to win out, and Orlando can't win at all. Not impossible, but unrealistic. I can't see them beating the Heat in 7 games, and while it's more probable against the Pacers, I don't see that happening either. Indiana is 11-1 in April, against a lot of teams fighting for seeding.

not true. Knicks have to go 4-0, and ORL 1-3, Knicks have the tiebreaker

ORL has a tough schedule on the road, Knicks play ATL & LAC but they are both home games, Knicks have been dominant at home under Woodson.

Based upon how I see everything playing out:

Chicago over Philly in 6
Miami over New York in 6
Indiana over Orlando in 5
Boston over Atlanta in 6

Chicago over Boston in 6
Miami over Indiana in 6

Chicago over Miami in 7

San Antonio over Houston in 6
Oklahoma City over Denver in 6
L.A. Lakers over Dallas in 7
L.A. Clippers over Memphis in 7

San Antonio over L.A. Clippers in 6
Oklahoma City over L.A. Lakers in 6

Oklahoma City over San Antonio in 6

Finals:

Oklahoma City over Chicago in 7

Imma go with Lakers in the finals against Chi-town. ECF will be the Heat and Chi-town with Boston making it tough for whoever they paly, and in the west I expect the Spurs to put up the biggest challenge to the Lakers and the Thunder to have a very good showing.

The rest of the match-ups are purely academic.

I'm sticking by my preseason picks, but I'm pretty nervous about OKC making it deep in the playoffs.

I'll say:
OKC/LAL
Miami/Chicago

Hopefully someone else can knock out the Spurs for us, because there's no way in hell OKC is beating SA in a seven game series.

I would think it'd be better to post this next Friday. ( at least for the West) Too many things can change. And match ups will be a big factor.

Doubt that Knicks catch Boston for the division or the 6th seed over the Magic. Although with D12 out the yr its possible.

Either way

EC: HEAT vs bulls
WC: Spurs vs OKC

For extra credit...
HEAT vs Spurs Finals

Above and beyond work...
Heat in 7.

o wow i thought it was a home game. ATL is tough in ATL.

But at least its a sunday afternoon game national TV, KNicks tend to really come out to play in those games. either way, its certainly a game NY can win.

If the OP can be a homer so can I.

If CHI remains the top seed IND/CHI in the ECF.

If MIA takes the top seed IND/MIA in the ECF.

OKC/SA in the WCF.

because we get no media love, no one knows how well the Pacers are playing. These homerfied ECF prediction maybe not be probable, but they are definitely possible.

Magic are 3 games ahead of NY with 4 games left, and 1 of the remaining games is against Charlotte.

So basically the chance that NY finishes with the 6 seed is like 1% in my opinion.
