Did you just read JordansBulls' comment in the race to the MVP thread about this and decided to make a thread on it? :laugh2:

Im sure they told bron he can sit if he wants to. I dont think the heat are doing this to boost brons chances. But i dont think its hurting them either;)

Bron did say he wants a game or 2 off before the playoffs.

I don't think they give a crap about that. In fact, I expect LeBron to start sitting out soon.

pretty sure they didn't tell bron he could sit...

"I've got nicks and bruises like everyone else does," James said. "If I'm in uniform I'm ready to play. Not saying that I wouldn't like more rest, (but) this is a season where everyone wants more rest. ... I would love to get one, maybe two games' rest and get ready for the postseason. That would be ideal."

pretty sure this doesn't do anything for lj's mvp candidacy either.

I think Wade sits out because he is soft as toilet paper and likes to collect a check while he sits on his *** and wants more money to play for team USA

Lebron should sit. I read a quote somewhere on Twitter that he wants to sit/rest too. They're probably not catching the Bulls. & Spo is only doing it vs bad teams too. Why not sit Lebron tomorrow? Play mind games with Chicago

Are they not playing tomorrow as well? Cause they could just be resting Bosh and Wade for their game against CHI.

LeBron: "This is a season where everyone wants more rest…I would love to get 1 maybe 2 gms rest & get ready for the postseason.”

He's only missed 1 game this year I think? Playing heavy minutes, playoffs around the corner. I'd rest Lebron before Bosh for sure. Bosh needs to get his confidence up and he's been "chilling" since the all star break. Make that dude work a little and give Lebron a break

Considering this is a winnable game without Wade and Bosh, why NOT sit them.
I doubt it has anything to do with the MVP race.

It's either the voters are impartial, and he's already basically won MVP regardless of how much more he plays this season... or

The voters still have problems with him and are going to vote Durant as MVP, regardless of how much more he plays the season.

justinnum1

Yea, if the voters are still have a problem with bron joining 2 other all stars, he;s not getting it period. other wise its his.

Ok.

I nominate this for post of the year. This is what we need on this site. Finally someone stays on the topic of the OP and gives a thorough, well thought out, non biased post. If you had a vagina I would so want you right now.

Are you MAD? Dwyane Wade plays through just as much pain as anyone in this league. What are you talking about?

:facepalm: heat have him on a maintenance program bro

And he looked fine sunday dropping 28pts on 10-18 shooting...just resting him up before the playoff run.

I have a feeling him sitting is not his decision. I'm sure Spo is the one making that decision, now and earlier in the year too. Why should he play now? They are pretty much locked in at the #2 seed in the East. It would take a complete meltdown by the Bulls for the Heat to pass them. Keep hating though...

I'd agree except I believe Bosh's knees aren't particularly strong which is why he said he had a hard time remaining bulked up, so I'd rest him and Wade over resting Lebron, as Lebrons a human tank/train

Bosh is better with rest and won't have any trouble getting his "confidence up" lol. Lebron will get some time off next week i'm sure but I don't think anyone in the league has as much fuel in their tanks as him. That guy is a straight up machine.

didnt play the 4th

04-18-2012, 10:09 PM
No it was not. He didn't step in the 4th. He could easily score 40+ the way he was going if he was only playing to boost his MVP chances. He just wants to play and contribute on winning. The guy is a freak train, only 27, and is probably the most athletic basketball player. He doesn't have to take rest.

LeBron shot 12-for-15 (80 percent) in tonight's win. Has never shot better in a game with at least 15 FG attempts
