Probably LBJ. They weren't winning anything with the team they had, and would've had no flexibility to make any moves until 2013, but then guys like CP3 and Josh Smith and Dwight and Jefferson and West and whoever else could've been coming available, so they could've put a great team around a prime LBJ.

Still, Kyrie (future All-Star PG), Davis (potential superstar big), and a whole bunch of cap room for the next few years is nothing to scoff at. Another very good option.

Really, though, they could've had Kyrie + LBJ, which would've been the best. Make the same trade - Mo + Moon for B Diddy and the Clipper's pick - then they still get Kyrie in 2011.

Irving is awesome. He will get them there next year. Davis is not in the league yet, so...

But it has to be Lebron. He is the best player in the league after all.

LeBron is the easy answer.

6 more years of LeBron's prime giving them a chance for a NBA Finals vs 3-5 years of pairing Irving/Davis together before they leave for a bigger market.

LeBron for sure. Ask again in a couple years when we know how good Irving/Davis are. But if you're asking right now, no way would I take two unknowns over the best in the league.

i think itll be Irving, Thompson, and (Lamb,Beal, or Barnes and Fab Melo or Ezili first round and two more picks second to use on peices like ) Kevin Jones, Darius Miller, Johnson Odom loaded draft not to mention future picks from Miami. Way better place going forward. The guy cant finish, they wont win this year either cant win on the road so wont even get past Chicago to lose to the Spurs or Thunder.

Truth. During the 2007 playoffs Lebron had who? Larry Hughes and Big Z in the twilight of their careers, Drew Gooden, Sasha Pavolic playing big minutes, Daniel Gibson and a young Anderson Varejao. Lebron played 45mpg and averaged 25,8,8 not to mention that Detroit game, which was one for the ages.

Would Anthony Davis and Irving do that with that team? **** NO.

LeBron easily. Until a trio of Irving, Thompson, and possibly Davis make it to the finals there is no question about it

LOL cavs woulda been in playoffs this season if not for injuries. Lebron not to hard replace get a couple guys who play 4 quarters Ill take Irving anyday already had a better season then Lebron did his rookie season. I bet Cavs are there next year. BOOK it,

Lebron makes you an instant title contender.

No telling what Irving, Thompson and Davis will get you.

You take the proven player...Especially when he's the best all around player in the league.

Irving is going to be better than Tp baring injuries.

While this is true, Irving is an absolute killer in the clutch in only his rookie season. Probably won't ever put up a performance like that however.

This is true, although he probably doesn't have nearly the amount of upside Lebron does.

Best Player in the League lol. At what?

The best player in the league is Lebron James, he has been for the past 3-4 years.
