That would be nice. Heck of a performance last night against the Sixers.

I'll be rooting for the Nets, Wolves, Pacers and Suns tonight.

Warriors/Clips starting up in a minute. Let's see if Klay Thompson can go Jordan again ; ]

And we have to lose. Can't forget our priorities now.

Uh oh no D. Lee - which means I think the entire starting lineup will be D. Leaguers and rookies?

Klay may put up 82 tonight.

...If we come out after halftime. And he doesn't shoot 14% from the field.

11-0 after roughly 2 minutes. Solid start.

Well, to be fair, you can't blame the players or coach. It's the managements choice.

And I could not be more on board with it.

And D. Lee really is hurt - as is Curry. As is Bogut. So..

Clipppers are on pace to put up 50 in the first quarter. Is that bad?

I don't mind tanking, But its still a disgrace to the sport (I blame the crappy lottery system for that). Injuries could be made up, hence tanking (Celtics did it that one year to get Oden or Durant by saying Pierce was hurt -- who could've been, but they were in no hurry to get him back obviously).

Yes and no - Curry's ankle injuries are not made up, I assure you. Obviously Bogut's is not made up. And D. Lee has actually been inexplicably battling through injuries for weeks to play, but he just badly strained his groin - so he's dusted.

Agree on blaming the system for the tanking mindstate. To be fair to the Warriors, they've never done it before, and we see multiple organizations do it year after year.

From 22-5 Clips to a back and forth battle going into half. Against our D Leaguers and rookies, Clips? Yikes.

I fully understand why so many people hate Blake, but god damn that dude is an impressive talent. Can't shoot a free throw worth **** though. No excuse for that given his body proportion/hand size. He would be an elite foul shooter if he put in the work.

That's the biggest question mark for me to buy into the Clips. I still think they're a pretty good team, a very dangerous team, especially with "Playoff's" CP3.

If they play the Spurs, Pop is just going to hack-a-Blake and DeAndre.

Oh I think these Clips are going to get dusted in the playoffs. Cp3 is their only championship level player, I don't think Blake has a refined enough all around game to beat the best quite yet.

I see them as a 6 or 7 game 1st round knockout.

I know it's tight... but the tanking will begin shortly

Telling you, it's not the players tanking. They'll fight to the end. But, Cp3 will commence ownership in the 4th.

Griffen is one of the worst FT shooters in the league, every time I check clippers boxscore he's like 1-5 or 1-6.

Right now he is 2-8

btw Biedrins is shooting 11% from FT line:laugh:

That's true, those guys play hard, no doubt about that. They just aren't talented enough to win a lot of games, and again, it's not really a bad thing for the situation that the Warriors are in.

To me, the Clips have a shot of going deep. CP3 in playoff mode is scary, and if he could almost get the Hornets into the 2nd round last year, I think it's possible to make a deep run... unless they get the Grizz in round 1.

But i do think they can beat the Mavs.

Still don't get why they didn't save the amnesty for Biedrins. Charlie Bell? Really?

Biedrins still has 2 more years after this at 9 mill per. Bell only had this year remaining right? At 4 mill?

With the right coach I think they could potentially go far. They do not have the right coach.

Don't get me started on Biedrens / their used up amnesty clause. What cheap idiots.

Like I said he would, Cp3 already completely taking over this 4th.

He might be the best pure basketball player I've ever seen when he's at his best. That includes Jordan and Hakeem.

It's dynamic/creative/perfect ball when he's going full bore. It's insane how good he is. Can you imagine if he came into the league with a roster like Magic and had multiple rings? He'd already be seriously considered in GOAT PG talks.

I know. I love his game and I've argued for awhile, until injuries really hurt his game, that he was the best in the league.

It's too bad he's such a whiny *****. I love watching him play. What did against Dallas in 07-08 was such a joy to watch. That's when you realized that Kidd was done.

And even a post-injury Cp3 is 2nd in the league in PER/Winshares to only Lebron during the reg season (which we know isn't his scene). He's a monster.

Is Love playing?

nope, probably done for the year, his "mild" concussion is not really mild. At this point, may as well make Randolph audition, and see if Williams can end the season strong.

They're playing at home though. :rimshot:

No Love, Rubio, Ridnour, a slowed Pekovic, a slowed Beasley, Ellington with back spasms, and Barea with stitches in his mouth and a bad calf dude. Injuries completely destroyed the positive season the Wolves were having.

I liked Blake last year. This year I have started disliking him more and more. He flops all the time, he is a drama queen, and I just don't get the hype outside cool dunks. He is so protected by the NBA, it makes me sick. I am not going to sit here and say Love doesn't get calls, but if he got all the calls Blake does, with Love's style of play, he would average 20 FTA's per game.

I gotta say, I agree. That and his lack of improvement (I really thought an offseason would have catapulted him to the top 10), has really caused him to sour on me.

I'm just going off his blocks per game average of 3.6 compared to the second highest of 2.3. It's about 40% higher than 2.3. Also it's been 5 years since someone has averaged over 3 blocks a game and he's doing it in 27 minutes. His shot blocking prowess just doesn't get old for me.
