This was a pretty cool thread in the NFL forum, so thought I'd try it here.

What are some of the worst predictions you've had over the years regarding MLB?

I predicted a long time ago that eventually there would be a team with fans who were as smart and knowledgeable as Yankee fans. Still waiting.

I can't think overall off the top of my head.

I thought Berkman's defense would be so bad in right field last year that it would completely negate any offensive production he would give us, and I said he could no longer hit lefties and that he was becoming an over-aged useless ball player.

Then he gave us a 5 WAR RF season.

I have been wrong about Lohse every season. I think he is going to regress, and he has the best year of his career. I think he might be able to sustain it, and then he regresses. I still hate his contract though.

Most of my incorrect predictions are thinking a guy has regressed and then he throws in another good season or two.

I def thought the Reds would be better than they were last year.

Just stuff like that, I'm sure I have some others that are way worse but have conveniently chosen to forget them :)

The Pittsburgh Pirates would make the playoffs.
Albert Pujols would resign in St. Louis (Didn't expect the Wife to be insulted by the 5yr-130 million initial offer soo much that she would demand moving to California)
Texas would win the World Series (prediction in the 9th inning of game 6 last season)
