There was a time when the Cavs chose not to include J.J. Hickson in a deal that would have landed them STAT..OOUCH. The kid had a very bright future..then he ultimately fell out of favor with the cavs. Hickson was traded to the Kings and they staight missed the boat on continuing to develop the kid. J.J. is now with the trailblazers and is showing why the Cavs originally had such high hopes for him and what do you know..it's a contract year for Hickson. With the way Hickson has come on, what teams do you all see making a serious push to sign him as their starting PF? I could see the Hornets, Pistons, Wizards, and the Celtics making a run for his services.

he's only averaging about 14 points as a blazer and he's too inconsistent

someone will obviously sign him but lets not get ahead of ourselves.. this guy is still mediocre

Nope. This has been denied multiple times by both sides. Nobody credible reports it anymore. The only reason it lives on is people like you guys believe it and repeat it without checking whether it's real.

I dont understand the entire thing with STAT. Hindsight being what it is they were better off not even trading for STAT. LeBron and Wade had conspired about teamming up long before that summer. Had LeBron wanted to play with STAT he could of just went with him to NYK.

he's doing better offensively but his defense is still horrific.

This and this.

He is a quality role player for the price he's playing for. He can score and when he is committed he can play good defense. But this thread is talking about him as if he has "arrived" and reached his potential.

He went from a 9.9 PER in Sacramento to a 21.5 PER in Portland.

It's clear his talent wasn't utilized in Sacramento.

They started him to start the season, he played like ****. He didn't move without the ball, he would just shoot jumpers, which he can't do.
