@WindhorstESPN
Dwyane Wade (ankle) will not play for Heat vs. Pistons. Mike Miller, however, will play after missing 14 games. 2 minutes ago

@WindhorstESPN
Good decision to rest Wade--I mean sit him down because of a minor injury. Heat giving him games off is vital. about a minute ago

LOL @ Spo.

He's not resting his guys. Can't be wrong here.

This is a good time for Bosh to step up and grow a pair of balls again. Also for Miller to comeback!

Actually, the most intriguing comment from Erik Spoelstra's pregame presser was one that went without an expected follow up when he said, "I'm actually optimistic about a couple of tweaks I'm going to make, some of them I've been able to see, some of them I have not."

Ronny Turiaf with six points and seven rebounds in the 1st half. It's not Wilt. But it tells why he's the Heat's starting center

when's the last time a heat center did this in a half?

I wonder how the hell on earth we never get to see Jones on the court when we die for a basket in the 4th. The dude has always been ready and every time he steps in he makes some threes. Spo is a ****ing ********.

justinnum1
04-08-2012, 08:42 PM
My guess is there just arent any minutes for JJ especially when wade and miller are healthy. But if we take cole out of the rotation and give wade and bron minutes at pg when rio is out then there might be some minutes for JJ.

Marlin234
04-08-2012, 08:43 PM
James jonea could easily average 10 Pts 3reb 1 steal if given consist minutes.

knicks in the 7th seed

kntresistheheat
04-08-2012, 09:07 PM
Why can't bosh play like that every game? It seems like the heat are tweaking up the defense and going to their roots. I am also liking that spo is expanding the bench and putting different looks out there and giving these guys an oppurtunity to take off some rust and get it going for the playoffs.

kntresistheheat
04-08-2012, 09:09 PM
One more thing, I am also liking cole as a last option in the rotation. Keep playing JJ, Miller, Harris.

justinnum1
04-08-2012, 09:16 PM
Spo found where cole belongs, garbage time:)

Turiaf was great tonight, now it was detroit and there frontline is a joke, monroe is small and more finesse, but turiaf with 8/9/3 was awesome. Bosh had a big game, the jumper was working early, he can get involved much better as a 2nd option than a 3rd, but seeing how he is the 3rd he needs to focus on great defnesive rotations and rebounding when hes not scoring. If he is going to go out and double/trap on the perimiter he better freaking be aggressive, no lolly gagging and leaving the paint open and being out of rebound position.

Bron was great, battier was great hustle, his offense sucks
JJ is a beast but we just have to many wings for him to get minutes
UD good effort as usual
Rio making to make dumb mistakes, 3pt shot sucks
harris is a nice surpirse, dont want to see him playing pg so when rio is out have to have wade or bron handling the ball,

needed a game like this with boston and chicago coming up, i want to win both of those games

NEW LINE-UP FOR REST OF THE SEASON GOIN ON TO PLAYOFFS MAYBE WE ARE DEVELOPING T.HARRIS AS A BACK-UP PG

PG- Chalmers/ Harris/ Cole
SG- Wade/ Miller
SF- James/ Battier/ Jones
PF- Bosh/ Haslem/ Howard
C- Turiaf/ Anthony/ Pittman

HuRRiCaNeS324
04-09-2012, 02:00 AM
Harris is not a PG... He doesnt have good playmaking ability and has average ball skills. If Cole is gonna get the role of garbage time, Wade and Lebron are gonna see more time at PG and JJ, Miller, and Harris are gonna split minutes. Hopefully JJ gets some more because he is ALWAYS wet. Those 3 threes per game he always seems to get will be huge in the playoffs.

Valkyrie
04-09-2012, 05:58 AM
LOL @ Joel starting then playing like 8 minutes a game.

Mike Miller has to shake off the rust before playoffs.

If Juwan Howard is in the game, things went great for us, or terrible for us.

James Jones. That is all.

Unless it's garbage time, I don't want to see anyone beyond the starters and backups you listed in this lineup playing, with the exception of Jones. I really don't think Cole, Howard, Pitt, or Curry should see the floor in the playoffs unless the game is out of hand. I think Cole will still be a solid player in the future, but he's still a rookie at this point and seems to make far too many mistakes.

I want to see more PT for Turiaf too. I'm sick of going small and getting abused. When he's in there we are a lot tougher down low as far as defending the hoop, rebounding, and scoring.
