I voted Kevin Durant. I don't really see why Chris Paul is up there, but solid choices.

Why is Kobe on this list? He is shooting the worst in his career and is 3rd on his team in Win Shares and 4th in WS/PER 48 minutes

Can't really say I disagree all that much, Simmons is someone I actually enjoy reading their material.

With that said, he hates the "Zombie Sonics", so who knows if that played into it.

Bill Simmons is the best NBA writer around. I LOVE reading his articles and listen to his BS Report every day there's a new one.

I genuinely value his opinion more than anyone's regarding the NBA. Surprised but pleased to see him with LeBron at #1.

I dont think many people like what happened in Seattle, I doubt that plays a role in determining their affection for that team.
