NBA Jam - Boom Shocka-Locka - He's on Fire (best nba game ever made) wish they re-made it same look and feel but with players now not that crappy nba jam they just came out with a few years ago im talkin 2D players the 2 on 2 painted pictures of the players at the choose team screen when you choose maybe add in a few things like trade, create a player, dunk contest,Franchise,Become a NBA Star, online

NBA on NBC (was fun when i was younger i think i was 13)

NBA Jam. Despite Jordan not being in it. Pip and Grant were great. Benjamin and Kemp, Drexler and Porter, Tisdale and Richmond, Mullin and Hardaway, Barkley and Marjerle. Oh bringing back memories.

He's on Fire!
Gugliatta, Kemp, Mutumbo, Wilkins, Knicks had Ewing and Oakley. The players that were used were hysterical. Mutumbo catches fire and can drain 3's from anywhere. That game was great

I was born in 1989 so Im in my early 20's so Im not old enough to have played the super super old *** NBA video games. But the first NBA game I ever touched was 1995 NBA Jam Tournament Edition. That's all I played through the late 90's until I bought NBA 2K for Dreamcast for 1999. I was a very little little little kid in the 90's but Ive been playing sports games since then. I started playing John Madden in 1996 and also NHL in 1996. I didnt start playing MLB games till like 1998. I also used to play the Space Jam video game that came out for the movie but that's not technically NBA basketball.

This right here, NBA Street Vol. 2 was the most fun I've ever had playing a basketball game.

NBA Street V3.

I didn't like V3 as much as Vol. 2.

It all started with Double Dribble. The arcade version of NBA Jam was incredible. Bird vs Jordan was good. NBA Live in the late 90's was awesome. Hubert Davis was unstoppable.

My favorite is EA. lakers VS celtic, MJ was in video games backthan he was one of the first athlete to be motion captured and edited in a video back in the late 80s the technology was new backthan and a break thru on revolutionize sports video games, the game lakers VS celtic gave birth to EA live basketball series(which fall off the past 7yrs 2k product is BETTER) jordan had his signature air-reverse layup and kiss the rim dunk Tim Hardway had his deadly cross over infact everyone and their go to moves in the game

Just for the heck of it, I'll say my least favorite was Mario Basketball. Mario Golf and Tennis were great, but for the one sport I actually like they turned out a glorified Mario Party mini-game. It sucks.

Oh, and here is the all time weirdest interpretation of basketball in video game form.

The game I played the most was Live 2004. I remember in the franchise mode there was a glitch in the offseason where you could skip over the sign free agents option and then you could sign stars for the minimum. :laugh2:

I used the Lakers and traded Kobe for LeBron and Rick Fox and some other guys for D. Wade. My lineup was:

Shaq, Malone, LeBron, Wade, and Payton lol :laugh2: Went 69-13 and just like real life it was Lakers and Pistons in the finals except I swept. Then I got Iverson for the minimum lol Malone retired and I put Payton on the bench

I went 72-10 that season and won another ship. Was trying to get 73 wins but it just didn't happen

culd you imagine the 2000 teams in 2k12? Vintage Shaq/Vince/TMAC/AI/Yao

I would buy a seperate 2k12 Retro game for full price (and dont say they hav retro teams, they just dont feel like they could have)
