With Will Smith becoming part owner of the Sixers and attending games more frequently now, I got to thinking, who is each team's iconic fan?

We all know Jack Nicholson with the Lakers, Spike Lee with the Knicks, and Frankie Muniz with the Clippers(lol). But for the other teams around the league, is there somebody everyone knows that's a fan of your team, and goes to games?

Ray allen's mom for the celtics

I remember when AI's mom would be at every game. She always had a huge sign saying something like "#3 That's My Boy!!", good times.

Does pip for the bulls count?

Nah, former players don't count. Unless they're a fan of a team they didn't play for, which would be weird.

Lol, I forgot about him and the Magic.

He's been a season ticket holder for like 2 decades...

That's about all we have. A lot of big names come for a few games...but he's the only dedicated super star fan that I'm aware of.

Kid Rock occasionally but he's more of a poser fan. I'l never forget last year's home opener they asked him what his favorite piston moment was, he said "taking it to the Lakers game 7 of the '04 finals!". It didn't go 7 games

Sammy Sosa! (http://www.chicagonow.com/top-ten-chicago-sports/files/2011/07/2-Sammy-Sosa-2.jpg) (Bottom right hand corner).

All kidding aside, our most loyal celebrity fan is probably Jimmy Buffet (http://www.buffettworld.com/images/jbheat02.jpg). Hell, he even got thrown out of a HEAT-Knicks game in 2001 for yelling "This is bull----" at a referee. Buffet aside, Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova (http://cbsdallas.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/kournikova_basketball.jpg) have been season ticket holders for some time now.

Iconic fans can mean different things. It could mean people like Clipper Darrell or people like Nicholson. I don't have time to make a list, but I'd be curious to see someone make one.

I'm not sure who for Chicago. Obviously Obama is a huge Bulls fan and so was Kim Jong Il (no joke) :laugh2: But I don't think there's any celebrity who consistently goes to Bulls games aside from Pip. I think Vince Vaugn has been to a few, but he's a bigger Blackhawks fan than Bulls fan.

EDIT: It's actually Kim Jong Il's son, Kim Jong Un, who's the big Bulls fan.

Most Lakers fans will say Jack but I think Yori Saneyoshi is better.

Just check out her fb fan page. She's Awesome.

Yes, he's quite popular in Indy. Also, Peyton Manning used to go to games every now and then, but obviously won't anymore. Rik Smits is at most games I believe. Jared the Subway guy used to be a season ticket holder. I would say this year it would have to be Mike Epps (http://www.nba.com/pacers/photos/_FPM0026.jpg) though.

Vince is my main man. If he was a die hard bulls fan, that might have made me convert.
