Good pick up. Was a real good role player in Golden State before the knee injury

Its a shame. I really liked Azubuike when he was on GS and had high hopes for him when the Knicks got him last year. Chances are, his career is over

Were judging a guy we haven't seen in 2 yrs already. Such deductive reasoning going on here. Let's just wait and see first.

His past 2 seasons with GS:

14.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 47% FG in 74 games
13.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 54% FG in 9 games before injury

He is also a solid defender too. The Mavs wouldn't sign him if they thought he was "done".

He is gonna play in the D-League for a few games to get a feel for the game again but I think this is a very underrated signing. The Mavs only have one SF in Marion and this allows Dirk to sit out around the 5 min mark, Marion slides over to PF and Kelenna can give us solid minutes at the 3.

I like this for next year too. If he is in fact "done" ok, we'll just let him walk but if he isn't, then Dallas just landed a solid wing defender and scorer to add to the big offseason for next year.

If Mike Woodson for COY, Jeremy Lin for MVP, Steve Novak to Knicks, Knicks are the best defensive and bench team in the NBA threads are allowed to be put up, then this certainly can...

people are saying he's done because he hasnt played a game in 2 years. If he's healthy thats a good pick up, always liked the guy.

Watch LTB exaggerate after this acquisition. It's a "eh" sort of move but he'll act like if mavs just signed an all-star.

He wont do anything if not healthy

If healthy, I see him in a good role player role like Deshawn Stevenson that we had last year

I would love to see an all defense line up plus Dirk on the floor if we are going up against Lakers or Thunder some point in playoffs

West
Azuibuke
Marion
Dirk
Haywood

He should have signed with Phoenix...their medical staff would turn him into Jordan.

This is what I love about Cuban. He is always trying to improve his team. Nice pick up in any capacity.

Hey. Steve Novak got 10+ pages! J.R Smith got 6 or 7, Jeremy Lin got 4000 pages.

I think Azubuike deserves 2 pages...
