Jermaine O'Neal will have season-ending surgery on his left wrist.

O'Neal tried to work through problem, but he and doctor realized it wouldn't get better w/o surgery.

Looks like he wont be joining the Heat or any other team.

If this is indeed the end of his career, what do you think of it?

The Celtics are running slim on big men...

I'd call it a career ending injury, but that's just what I think.

hated the signing then hate it more now
never like jermaine watching him play has solidified this belief

Yeah, he should hang up the sneakers. Too injury prone.

Good player, not a Hall of Fame caliber career.

Jermaine O'Neal? Hall of fame? really?

Hall of Fame is reserved for the best of the best of the best.

and then the best from that group.

Sounds like retirement to me

With his game, he should be able to play with only one good wrist.

I loved him in Indiana, injuries are the worst things in NBA after Stern
