That's kind of a scary thought for Bulls fans when you consider his track record at front office with Charlotte and the Wizards.

It would be great if MJ became the Bull's GM. That would pretty much solidify Miami in the finals every year..

When the Bulls decide they want to become a perennial loser they will bring MJ into the front office.

Hell to the NO!!Love MJ the player; but he needs to stay out of Chicago in that capacity.

A minor role is fine. But, I don't want him having any real authority within the organization.

lol, He owns the worst team in NBA...

Sinestro
03-17-2012, 01:43 AM
He could be the owner as long as he's not the GM and just listens to what they tell him or a minority owner would be cool too

TheRunKiller

Yeah i can't wait til he takes over..you see what he's doing with the bobcats LOL

id take him...do you know how much power he had/has...

MJ 2 years ago during "the decision" :

MJ:Hey Bron,
LBJ:Yes papa.
MJ:i have laid the foundation;you are the side kick to Drose....
LBJ:But papa...
MJ:Do you wanna win yes or no?

Not in those words exactly, but close.

The issue w MJ is he has been somewhat perfect on court and now when he seems to fail it is magnified...HOW DOES MJ PICK A BUST? No one acknowledges the "Bullets" Sold out when MJ was there...MJ actually had a decent team...it was he(MJ) was too over barring..he held players to higher standards that they couldnt reach. So i look at MJ as a +/- .....He made money for his franchise, one whom couldnt sell out a empty box in a hobo convention...drafting..he failed..its all trial and error..look at his team now. Better than the Nets without a star..Drafted Felton ,brought in Wallace, diaw, Henderson..it just takes time..decades even..look at your team...look at the time they entered the NBA and when they won...BULLS 1977 i think won 1 in 92...

The Wizards and Bobcats were already doomed teams.

Jordan thought he could have a playoff team with Jason Richardson, Gerald Wallace, Stephen Jackson, Kwame Brown, and Corey Maggete as the best player on a team.

Assistant to the Ambassador. I would have no problem with him sitting next to Pippen and co-writing a blog, etc. Maybe teaching our players whatever he knows ala Pippen once trying to mentor James Johnson.

If he would take a small coaching role, I wouldn't mind. However, I don't want him anywhere near the FO or ownership.

OP is ********.
:p
Bulls will never invite that hitler stache mistake of a gm to their organization unless he is in a coma and can't affect the team.

Remember Jay Marriotti, he use to write for the Chicago Sun-times, around the end of the Bulls Jordan era he'd always say how dumb the Bulls were for not using MJ as an ambassador or front office position because all the players would want to play for Jordan....funny how people would think MJ was this great guy cause he was great at BBall..

Sure, having Jordan back with the Bulls in some capacity would be great, but...

He may be literally one of the worst GMs in the history of the NBA so far. He just makes bad decision after bad decision for years now. On top of that he's already an owner in Charlotte, so he would have to sell that in order to buy into the Bulls. On top of that, I don't think Jordan would accept a minority role with an organization, he wants to run something.

If you're a Bulls fan, you want Jordan, you just don't want him doing anything. It'd be nice to see, but it's not going to happen.

Hawkeye15
03-17-2012, 02:29 PM
The Bulls don't want him anywhere near being able to make personel decisions for their roster. MJ is a perfect example of why we shouldn't care in the slightest what an ex-great says when evaluating talent, or giving their opinions on players.

MJ is probably the worst executive in all of sports history.

He should stick to selling overpriced apparel.

Michael Jordan is a NBA team owner now he can't be a GM or anything any more. It will voliate the NBA rules and Michael Jordan and the Bulls will get in a lot of trouble. Millions of dollars will be taken by the NBA and 5-10 first round draft picks will be taken also from the Bulls. Michael Jordan just spend over 200 million dollar to buy the Bobcats last year. I don't see him using 300-400 million dollar to buy the Bulls.
