He just got waived....
So what he's injured a lot...
Maybe a Mike Miller 2.0....
But I think we should definitely grab him....

David Aldridge: Source confirms that the Blazers have waived Greg Oden. What a sad, sad ending. Told he's going "off the grid" to try to finally get healthy Twitter

him with our training staff i have a good feeling could be a low risk high reward guy next year. he was a former number one for a reason, cause he can play some ball. just gotta find a way to get and keep him healthy.

How about portland in all this. first they miss out on jordan when he was drafted now oden has been a bust due to the injurys and the missed out on durant to get him. terrible luck by portland!!

he should go to the Suns...their medical staff can do miracles

Oden needs a miracle to get back on the court IMO. Real talk though - Blazers have the worst medical staff in the league BY FAR. Suns have the best.

Greg Oden is a non-factor until the 2013-2014 NBA season, so this thread is way way way premature and unnecessary.

I actually hope the Suns pick him up at one point and let their medical staff do miracles as they've done with Nash, Hill and Shaq.

Oden is finished. If he wasn't Portand sure as hell wouldn't be blowing up the team. Sad, Portand was one of those teams on the rise late last season now look at them, just sad.

Oden rides the electric cart at publix, because shopping is hard on his knees. Hell no!

Oden is never going to be able to play and stay healthy. His injuries aren't going to magically disappear. He's a big man with a history of serious injuries, I think he's done. If he gets a chance to play again, he will just get injured again. I really don't see a point in signing him unless he's like the 14th or 15th man on the bench so that there are no real expectations or a big disappointment when he gets injured again.

Is Oden allowed to play in a wheelchair? Or is that against NBA regulations?

Oden cant play this year so no team should pick him up. If any team should get him i think i should be the Magic, he'll just have to back up Dwight and not have to play many minutes...

Signing Greg Oden now might be a good investment in the future. The question becomes weather the Heat should use roster space on an investment that might not pan out for some time. You have to figure the Heat is interested in Derek Fisher and Ronny Turiaf at the moment.
