LOL at Heat fans defending him. I see Wade, LeBron, Bosh can't do nothing wrong but get real. He's mad because Howard was rumored to be interested in Miami. He probably got excited.

There is nothing wrong in admitting he said something a bit douchebag-ish.

Wade and LoLebron are both Class A Delta Bravo's so I'm never surprised by their comments. More **** comes out of Wade's *** than out of his mouth. If Wade's ugly *** wasn't in the NBA he'd have zero friends and scrape by working at McDonald's. This goes for the majority of basketball players, but more so, Wade.

VCaintdead17

Yeah because we were all there, huh? Every Bulls fan in this forum?

So it's excusable to say the entire city of Miami has no class because of what ONE player said, but it's not excusable to say it when it's the actual fan base talking out their ***?

Who cares? Twitter is a femaleesque social media sight. It's pure gossip. Who gossips? If you said women, you're right. No need for men to have Twitter, Facebook, or the other social media sights. It's funny that people post what they're doing or eating when the people who should know about the things that they're doing should be there doing it with them.

It's called a rivalry. I don't know who you are a fan of, but I know you sure as **** wouldn't cheer for a ****ing rival. And I don't think anyone said Wade represents the entire city of Miami. He said it towards their team, AKA the Heat. I'm sure he didn't think he'd have to spell it out for someone in here, you know since everyone in the NBA Forum has the ability to think for themselves.

I go to at least 10 Pacer games a year. I've been to a couple Magic games and a Hawks game and I've NEVER heard something that tasteless. Only from Chicago.

Clearly you have never been to a game in NYC or Philly. Big markets have crappy fans some times, that's the end of the story. But if that's the worse chant you have ever heard, that's pretty mild.

I absolutely agree with you. There are some great posters here that are Bulls fans, and then there are the others....

And I'm much more prone to judge a fanbase based on their actual crowd as opposed to some random dude on a sports forum.

It's stereotyping either way, and saying that I'm just like those fans in the arena isn't fair and that's point I was trying to make.

But to simplify,

Bulls fan: yes.
Associated with them: Most of them, but in reality only the bad Bulls fans/trolls come in here to stay and the good ones generally stay in the Bulls forum. I generally stay in there as well. Some come in here for debates and conversations, but like myself come in and get flamed away. I tend to shy away from coming in here, but I still come anyways.
Viewpoint: My viewpoint is that the Heat deserve to be favorites to win the ECF. Although, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll win. I believe this Bulls team can do it in all honesty, but it'll be a rough series. I can't wait!
Ambitions: Obviously, it's to win a ring.

Am I so much like the others? Believing in my team is fine, but I realize some of my fellow Bulls fans (or claim to be, anyways) come in here on their high horse thinking they're better than everyone. The only thing that I'll say is that not everyone is like that, including myself. So next time, I warn you to be weary of that because quite often I get **** for what others do. I can't control the trolls and in fact most of us don't claim to them.

Wade is like school in the summer, no class. He purposefully injured Rondo's elbow in the playoffs. He broke Kobe's nose and gave him a concussion in the allstar game of all places. He pretended to be sick and fake cough in between games in the Finals to mock Dirk, who was no doubt sick. Wade is the biggest POS in the entire NBA.

Truth is truth, whether classy or not. And so the Bulls packed their **** up and went home.

You know what's also true? "Loyalty hahahahaha."

Derek Fisher chose to re-sign with the Lakers over signing with another team because he valued "loyalty" over playing time. How did Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak repay the favor? By trading him to Houston.

"Loyalty hahahahaha."

Knowing you, I'm not surprised you allow hate to get in the way of truth.

Truth: this has nothing to do with Dwight Howard. Truth: Wade, so far from being a douche, came out in defense of a fellow player, Derek Fisher. Truth: very few people on here give a **** about the truth, especially when it gets in the way of their contrived narratives and prevents them from spewing their vitriol like water from a fountain.

The issue with Fisher is i bet LA told him prior to trading him..i bet he was upset but ok....Loyalty to teammates and fans is all that matters. I wish Wade would stfu the world is on your shoulder and your team isnt better than last year. Basically screw what goes on outside of MIAMI..And its not Wade county, its Dade county..get a real nick name.

before i say anything, people need to understand that heat fans had nothing to do with Wade's tweet, so stop hatin' on them. Their just defending their player.

I do have to say that Wade knew what he was doin when he sent that tweet. he knew millions of ppl would read it and react, and he knew that it would be interpreted the way it has been, so there's no excuse "he didn't mean to be insulting, etc..." cuz that is definitely BS.

It was pretty damn insulting to Dwight and the Magic organization. And to the fans.
How? well, dwight put the FO in a bad spot WAY before the Magic FINALLY took control of the situation with the ultimatum yesterday. Dwight was seriously stringing them along, being fickle and saying way too much to the media, adding pressure on the front office.
The front office were just punching back. And dwight DOES want to stay in Orlando, but he wants to WIN more than that. Since their currently winning, he doesn't see why they wouldn't be able to have a shot at a deep playoff run this yr AND the next...
His agent just wanted him to go to brooklyn for the $$ and THATS the "bad advice" he was referring to.

Wade is honestly just immature, and a bad role model. him AND born. BT makin fun of dirk for bein sick and this, i have lost all respect for Wade. I respect his game, he's a baller, but he's also childish.

Well, we finally know what Dwight's intentions were when he said at that press conference. "LeBron did what he felt was right for him, and I've done what I felt was right for him". He didn't want to be another sellout like LeBron James and didn't want the world to hate him and leave his teammates high and dry without notice.

And for that fact, Wade childishly dissed Dwight.

The way they act and talk makes me sick. Why is it so hard for you to realize maybe one of your beloved players is just a really arrogant jerk? I don't get it. These people don't give a $%^& about you so why defend him? Why not just hope he wins you a ring instead of sticking up for a pompous millionaire d bag?

If Rose was ANYTHING like Wade I would dislike him but of course cheer him on. I'd have no problem saying he's a jerk though. MJ was a jerk, but atleast he came out that way because he was so competetive.

If this was a lot of other players besides a Heat player that was a jerk I'd say the same exact thing. Not EVERYONE hates your team and it's players. I've said that before. I don't mind LBJ at all and whatever with Bosh.

Classy guy, huh?

Wade should ask his teammates about "loyalty".

I love it! Wade taking a jab at his instate rivals.

The bottom line is management / owners are all business and the term, loyalty in business or in this case, sports should not exist. Dwight should do what's in his best interest not the Magic's.

Loyalty is akin to giving a team a "hometown discount", that's laughable...

Raph12
03-15-2012, 09:58 PM
Okay, just looked at things and I'm starting to think the tweet was directed at the media for valuing loyalty. There is a double-standard in sports, teams are allowed to do whatever they want with any player, but players are expected to be loyal no matter what.

I think Wade was mocking "loyalty" because the Lakers dealt Fisher, who returned to LA, burning the Heat because of loyalty to Kobe and the Lakers. And the Lakers repay him by just tossing him aside like he was some scrub, yet they haven't received any criticism for it. In fact, it was considered a "good basketball move" by the media to dump Fish.

Same thing with Manning in Indianapolis, he was the fan-fav, best QB in the league, one of the best of all-time, yet when they get the oppurtunity to get the "next big thing" (Andrew Luck), they hop all over it and send Peyton packing... Where's the loyalty *****es?

And the fans are just the idiots that buy into anything sold by the media.

I don't know if you think it's 2002, but Fisher is absolutely a scrub. He is very likely the worst starting PG in the game right now.

yep, that was shaq posting one of the best finals appearances EVER! Not, Wade dominated the finals while Alonzo proved to be more effective than Shaq. reading your post was painful to the eyes. I've watched Wade since he entered the league and he has posted numbers that makes your post look pretty downright ridiculous. Keep hatin

Why do Miami Fans always seem to put down Shaq playoffs? Shaq had a great playoff series. Mourning was higher ts% and efg% but he also had a lot lower of a usg%. It's hilarious to me how Miami fans couldn't figure out how much Shaq brought to that team.

So you dump him in Houston against his will? You do it without talking to him at all? He's not just some scrub, his talents on the court have diminished, but he was still a vocal leader, great in practices and great off the court in the community... That was not the way to do it and the Lakers have shown their loyalty.

This arguement is moot anyways, stop picking at stupidness, the point is that loyalty in sports has a double standard and that is Wade's point.

He's a fine person, a great character man, but on the court he's a scrub. And in basketball, the part that gets wins is the part on the court. The Lakers had the worst PG combo in the league.

So they're allowed to deal whoever, whenever? Again double-standard.

Stern had it right, the players are people and they've earned the right at FA, what they decide is completely up to them. Loyalty in business is overrated, in the end, everyone has to do what is best for themselves.

Considering the players, as a whole, agreed to everything as part of the CBA-it's not a double standard.

If the players really wanted such an idea as 'no trading', it's something they could fight for, they never have.

Regarding free agency; considering the owners, as a whole, agreed to everything as a part of the CBA - it is a double standard.

If the owners wanted such an idea as "no free agency", it's something they could fight for, they'd never win.

The double standard is that players are expected to be loyal, yet owners/teams don't have to, that is the double standard.

Owners and teams are blasted for not being loyal all the time, such as when they don't offer their guys fair deals. Notably guys that have been part of the organiation a long time. Just because you ignore it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Yeah right, the hate players get for leaving in FA is nothing compared to the mention that the teams get for not being loyal to their players... What has anyone said about the Colts since releasing Peyton?

I'm not implying that the players are above the owners, but both parties should do what is best for them without anyone throwing a hissy-fit.

Who cares who it was said to...the only thing I think is funny is someone to mock loyalty is teamed with two of the most unloyal guys in the NBA. Other than that, who cares? Dwight didn't come back because he's loyal, at least not entirely.

Then again, who cares if a guy is loyal or not? Play where you want to play. I dislike forcing trades. Wish they would shut their mouths and play where their at and stop forcing the hand of the front office...but again, play where you want to play.
