Dwight, CP3, Monta and JSmoove will all be UFAs in 2013, while guys like Griffin, Harden, Ibaka, etc all become RFAs... Expect teams to be looking for expirings to clear cap and try to create Miami 2.0.

If Dwight opts in, what would stop Orlando from trading him? A team might be willing to part with a ton now that he has opted in for the 2012-2013 season. He will no longer be a 20 game rental for the rest of this season

Stephen a smith said the same thing. Thay would really catch dwight by surprise. And he would deserve it with the childish way he handled all this.

Because they'd never get a franchise player again and if they do (via draft), he'll leave the first chance he gets.

Kobe is making $30 mother-****ing million dollars a year in 2013, who the hell thought grandpa Kobe was worth that many bucks?

Do we think that Chris Paul won't be happy with LAC?

Yes, it's very possible. Among the possibilities, I see Nets, Mavs, Warriors (move Curry to the 2, trade Bogut), Celtics (trade Rondo), Hawks (Dwight is from Atlanta, move Horford to PF, just need to dump Marvin Williams), and, of course, Clippers (just need to find a taker for a Jordan for SG trade).

The lakers would have to be lucky I think a couple of players come off the books if fisher retires amnesty artest and trade walton for expirings, and if kobe can restructor his contract maybe we can sign one and do a sign and trade for the other.
I don't know if players can re arrange their contracts and take less though.

All it really means is another year of childish back and forth will he won't he and endless rumors of where and who he is teaming up with. Dwight is as bad as LeBron's two year flirtation in every city he went to - "yea I could see myself playing here". Thanks for overshadowing the NBA Dwight.

No but I bet josh smith goes there which is sad because that still wont make them contenders.
