Live on NBA TV right now.

Not sure how often they talk to Phil Jackson recently, but they both just said that he will come back to coach the Knicks.

I won't believe it until Rob Lowe says Phil Jackson is going to be the HC of the Knicks.

While coaching the Knicks would be very intriguing and something Phil has wanted since his coaching career began, I dont see him coming back to the league for a roster like the Knicks'.

I always liked Shaq :)

There is a chance, but I doubt either of them have any insight on what Phil thinks about the possibility of leaving retirement for the Big Apple.

Melo isn't top 5 player in the league, Phil ain't coming, he might go to Miami if Spoelstra gets fired.

He would be perfect for the triangle....

What is your top 10?

This would be a horrible decision by Phil Jackson. It would make no sense for him to coach a team that would only hurt his legacy.

ehh...dont really have a Top 10 to be honest but i would def put melo in my top 5 ...this kid has been balling out his mind since high school

he is having one AVERAGE year Duh to terrible coaching and people already dismissing his previous success.....

If melo can co-exist with Allen iverson and they both was i believe top 4 in the league in points per game that year.

smh Melo easily top 5

I don't see Phil Jackson coming back period. I don't think he is healthy enough for it. He's happy retired Imo.

Melo is not even close to the top 5.

Lebron
Wade
Howard
Durant
CP3

all beat him convincingly

yeah right, because P-Jack wld want to ruin his coaching career by trying to coach a player like Carmelo Anthony.........Not exactly Jordan/Kobe-esk by any measure.

I heard this morning it was between Jerry Sloan and Phil Jackson for the knicks coaching job.

I'm sure they'll offer it to Phil Jackson. But Phil Jackson will decline. He's no longer a young man. He has health concerns and a full season of dealing with professional knuckleheads is not conducive to his well being. Plus, he has Jeannie Buss rotating his tires on a regular basis, and I don't see her leaving LA for NYC.

I asked for your top 10 because there is no way he is a top 5 player. You can't just claim he is a top 5 player with no other justification then he has been "ballin" on this site. You will get eaten alive.

How is he better than....

James
Wade
Howard
Kobe
CP3
Rose
Durant
