@timkawakami There are no deals in place to move DWright, Biedrins or Stephen Jackson, I'm told, but I believe GSWs are looking at trading away all 3.

Also reports that dorell wright was unhappy he wasn't a part of the trade

Available-ish Big Men matching Stephen Jackson's $9.2 Million he's owed/or close:
Boris Diaw: 9.0
Charlie Villanueva's corpse: 7.5
Kris Humphries: 8.0 -Would require picks, others
Andray Blatche: 6.4 -Other players needed to even out
Lamar Odom: 8.9
Shawn Marion: 8.2
Chris Kaman: 14.0 -More players to even it out.

Good luck finding one without dealing more assets.

How are you feeling about the trade digs?

I'm trying to figure out if there's a bigger plan to it, really. On the surface - with Bogut + Jackson out (don't think SJax is hurt), and Udoh + Monta strong and steady, it looks like a hosing. I'm a mixed bag with Monta, but I loved Udoh and his hustle/defense - really disappointed to lose him.

But, a healthy Bogut is always somebody I've been really high on - I thought he was the 2nd best 2 way center in the league 2 years ago and age wise he is now in his prime. And I'm a guy who has been pushing for a top end Center for about a decade now. It all depends on health at this point.

Either way, I wish our office was able to secure a draft pick in the deal (as our 1st round is not guaranteed unless this tanking works and we get a top 7 pick... otherwise it's Utah's) being that both of them are not even playing at the moment.

...Here's to tanking and hopefully securing a top 5 pick in the draft. In this years draft that is a HUGE win, and something that wouldn't have happened if our team stayed as is (and like I mentioned earlier, we need a top 7 pick to have any 1st round pick at all).

In summation: Not happy, not angry. Anxious.

Could he go to Chicago for Gibson or Asik. Clearly others would have to be thrown in.

Awesome idea. I'd love that, and the Bulls are indeed pining for a scoring 2/3.

Sjax has a 10 million dollar contact that ends this season. he has been riding the bench, healthy and fresh legs to contribute. Sjax wants another contract, he will suck it up and behave to get another deal. Tim Duncan did say that he was the best teammate he has ever played with.

The Warriors should trade him for a 2nd round pick and some filler. or just keep him and get some salary cap relief.

the Warriors dont have any first round picks to trade. its being held until they give up one of their first round picks to Utah. all of their picks are lottery protected top 7 this year, top 8 next year and if it goes another year they will just have to surrender a 2nd round pick.

since the trades are on hold, they cant trade them.

If Bogut can recover, Bogut will have much more of an impact then Iguodala would. Warriors needed a center, and they just got arguably a top 5 Center (when healthy). He's a great defender, rebounder, and shot blocker, pair him with Lee in the front-court, and both of them with Curry & Thompson. You have 4 positions filled for a long time.

He had two freak injuries. I could see if it was one reccuring injury (Curry), but he broke his arm falling and busted his ankle landing on someones foot. I'm very excited about this trade, as are many Warrior fans. We finally have direction. Lee & Bogut compliment each other very well, and are arguably a top 3 front-court duo, with Curry & Thompson in the back-court.

Well aside from the obviouse (Rose, Paul, Wade, Westrbrook, and Kobe), I would take Bogut over the rest. Look the Warriors made this trade with a purpose, to build around Curry, Thompson, Lee, & Bogut. I like that a whole lot better then building around Curry, Ellis, and Lee.

The problem is its hard to build around those guys when they took on an extra $10mil, so unless they get rid of some money and bogut stays healthy then I just don't see why you risk taking bogut.

I would take out the highlighted. But still, we have a very good back-court as well as a very good front-court now. This trade makes us a much more complete team. If we can draft a Small Forward, and keep the bench we have now, our roster would look pretty good next season.

Curry-Robinson
Thompson-Rush
P. Jones-Wright
Lee-(trade Jackson for a Power Forward)
Bogut-Biedrins

Are you covering your face because youre ugly as *****...or because you love Captain Jack even though you probably weren't a Warriors fan long enough to realize that he once called being captain for a young Warriors team 'Overrated' and pretty much threw his whole team under the bus by demanding a trade from a franchise with absolutely no direction...hmm, I think ill go with my gut feeling and say its the first one.

Haha that trade is a joke for the Magic dumbass. Why in the **** would they trade 2 valuable players away for someone who isn't going to contribute..smh you gotta be straight dumb to think thats a fair trade.

I do actually. I keep up with basketball enough to know that

1.) Dwight Howard made it public that he wants to play with Stephen Jackson

2.) Jackson wants to play for the Magic

3.) Otis and the entire Magic FO want to do what ever it takes to please Howard so why wouldnt that trade be logical? Lets see...Ryan Anderson has 1 year left on his contract. Sure hes a solid player, but do you really think that the Magic would spend enough to resign a role player when their biggest concern is DWIGHT MOTHAFUC*IN HOWARD?

As much as a pain in the *** Jackson is, we have seen times before that a happy, motived Stack Jack can work wonders for any team just as the spurs and the 06-07 warriors...did I mention Dwight would love it?

That would be fun to see but who would they give though? The Warriors are looking for a big man in return and I dont think the Clips have any spares. However, if a draft pick is involved I could definelty see the Warriors being interested...considering Utah pretty much has their first rounder

The Marcus Williams curse continues...LMAO

With all that said, the Magic aren't going to trade two players that are both better then Jackson just to appease Howard. I'm sure Howard would much rather win then play house with Jackson.

Bulls might trade Asik in the future but NOT for SJax.

But with:

PG: Curry
SG:???
SF:Lee
PF:Lee/Biendris
C: Bogut

The Warriors have something if Curry and Bogut can stay healthy.

If anything, Dwight's public announcements on players just shows he'd be a hideous GM. Dude was mad they Amenestied ARENAS. He thinks he can win with GLEN DAVIS (role player, nothing else).

In fact when the Magic try to Coddle dwight (He wanted Vinsanity and Turkey Glue back so the Magic gutted their bench to get him, etc.) it blows up in their face and D12 complains even more.

TL;DR: Who gives a **** who Dwight wants to play with? He's a bad judge of Talent and character.

The Magic Had something good early last year pre-trade when they blew out my Bulls. Now that's all gone to **** b/c Dwight thinks he can GM on the side. If I'm Otis I tell Dwight to take a big gulp of shut up juice and let me do my job. If not I trade his *** to the highest bidder.

Despite all this drama, I wouldn't be surprised if Dwight walked. And if he did its mostly HIS FAULT.

LOL... I was actually watching because I thought both sides had something planned out as far as moving players immediately after this trade happened but I don't see Jennings gone yet nor do I see Jackson anywhere :S

They still got 2 more days to make there fans happy and I hate how Tim Ledger from ESPN says this deal makes perfect sense for both sides...

IT MADE NO SENSE...

If there was or is a nice follow up move then it makes sense to me as of now
