Ok nice win in San Antonio, but if you've been watching VDN, his moves just make him look like a dummy. Their wins are because of players coming in on fire (like Mo earlier and today or Billups in Denver) or CP3 being clutch as *******. It almost feels like he's just like "go out there guys and play, I'm gonna sit here and watch and enjoy myself."

When they lose in the playoffs, he'll get fired.

I'd say all it takes is a little friendly advice from a prostitute to Donald Sterling.

You can switch with the Knicks. D'Antoni's system suits CP3 and Griffin better anyway. Del Negro might even get more out of the Knicks than D'Antoni can.

Del Negro is not a very good coach, but the Clippers are just not that good a team.

They are a clone of the Chris Paul Hornets with a better version of David West. Just not enough wing depth and defense, and not enough 3PT shooting.

except mo willims & kenyon martin are better role players off the bench than that hornet's bench..and butler is better than who ever their sf was..

and that hornets team was one game away from the west finals when the west was loaded and san antonio was among the elite..so thats not downplaying this clippers team... this team is better than that one.. theyre just a 2 guard, some better coaching and some more time together to be in the finals....

sounds like alot.. but it really isnt because the west isnt going to require much this year..

hell no.. the clippers would be among the slowest teams.. imagine that..

that hurts everything the clippers have.. caron really cant shoot.. deandre & blake have no low post moves.. the clippers would screw themselves if they did..

Our best bench player plays the same position as CP3. Mo is too good of a player not to get minutes so it means pairing them together and hoping the other team has no true 2 that can abuse us. Kenyon Martin hasnt been anything to brag about but once he gets up to speed he could revert to last seasons form. Butler was not better than Peja. CP3 would have it so easy if he had an efficient wing to kick out to (this is where Billups is sorely missed).

And most importantly, CP3 was a better player then. At least in terms of Regular Season play, we all saw what he did against LA in the playoffs, so if he can revert to that form then its a wash, but Im of the opinion that we have the slightly downgraded version of CP3.

That team had better defense, and had the same hole at the 2 and I would like to see a breakdown between the 2 conferences but do you really think it makes that much of a difference? I dont think this Clipper team is as good that New Orleans.

1) Peja on that 2nd round Hornets team was markedly better than this current version of Caron
2) Chris Paul had a career year. Paul then > Paul now.
3) Chandler > DeAndre

Look, I'll give you Mo Williams and K-Mart, but that Hornets team had some bench players... Bonzi Wells, Bobby Jackson, etc. At the end I think the differences even each team out for the most part.

But just like that Hornets team, this Clippers roster will have to get hot at the right time. They just aren't a legit Finals caliber team yet.

He'd probably have to lose his hair. Until then he will have a NBA head coaching job. How can you say no to a guy with such aesthetic hair?

They are capable of beating anyone, as they are capable of losing to anyone.

With this dynamic they'll be unpredictable and a tough out in the playoffs.

The only thing that Peja was better at was shooting 3's. At worse, Butler and Peja are a wash. Cp3, played with some weak wing support in New Orleans. Peja was good in Sac-Town, but he was a massive flop in New Orleans.

Not much considering what is at stake for the Clippers - a team that could go from a 'legitimate story' to a 'what could have been dream' within the next few years.

LOL its not even close to wash. That 3PT shooting wasnt as deadly as it was in his prime, but the #'s arent even close, Peja was FAR more important/valuable to his team than Caron.

Peja was a massive flop, but not that year. He actually stayed healthy.

Look your going to downplay everything, Peja was an MVP candidate, but he was merely good?
