View Full Version : Critical city council vote today to determine future of Kings

03-06-2012, 01:55 PM
Tonight at 6pm, Sacramento city council will be voting to approve of the Arena deal reached about a week ago. We need 5 votes to pass. Right now its looking very optimistic, and looking like it may go 7-2, 8-1, or perhaps a crazy outside chance it goes 9-0 (Sandy Sheedy may give in).

Kings fans along with Mayor Johnson, Maloofs, and Stern have done everything within their power to get this far. Now it all comes down to tonight. We've come this far, let's finish it.

Thoughts? How do you all think it will go?

Go Sacramento, Go Kings, HereWeBuild, HereWeStayed, SayYes, 5votes....

I hate Sandy..

Yep, Sandy Sheedy has some sand in her vagina. Looks like there are at least five votes in place though.

I hope they get the 5 votes. Everyone worked so hard for this. It'd be a travesty if it ended on a vote like this

I hope the Kings can come back one day and get their redemption against the Lakers in the WCF. Everyone knows they got screwed in 2002

Im very nervous. Its looking like it will pass, but im still very nervous. knock on wood

Hope this goes through. Though I've fought with some of them, there's no doubt that there are some extremely loyal King fans on this site. They look to have good prospects. I honestly think they are a true PG and SF away from being a force (which this draft could provide them).

Goodluck. Kings fans deserve this arena. They support their team through all the losing.

What's the word? When do you find out?

Good luck Sacramento fans. Most of the Kings fans on here are pretty cool. Hope it works out for you guys. No one deserves to have their team taken away from them.
