Looking at your teams roster (directed mainly to lottery/mid-lottery teams), would you prefer to trade your teams 2012 1st round draft pick for solidified talent, or do you think this draft is too stacked to trade the pick.

I'm looking at teams like minnesota, wizards, kings, warriors, who have too much young talent, and are in need for that one or two players to bring their teams to the next level, which could easily be acquired by trading their pick.

And then there are teams that literally have no-one really (not going to name any teams :o) who could probably do with anything.

So name your team and say if you would trade your draft pick, and what kind of package you would expect for it

as a Raps fan yes, but im impatient im sick of waiting for guys to develop...id trade for Rudy Gay or Rondo fill our SF or PG need next season, unless I had #1 then id take Davis he blocks like 15 shots a game

As a Suns fan, I wouldn't trade the 1st this year. We're desperate for an infusion of youth. Morris is a great start but we need more.

I'd trade the Pistons pick so we can get the homerism of CousinsEvansDuo in the Piston forum.

It all depends on who you would get back for the pick but i think for this year more than most, its a good idea to hold on to the pick.

as a magic fan, i would have readily traded every pick we've made since fran...and in hindsight, i would have moved that too.

we've been too good for too long to have great success...and this year, barring the obvious, we're not gonna have a good one again. so yeah, of course. in fact, i hope we do.

the value of draft picks depends on your team.

God no.

I get wet at the thought of a Tyreke-Kidd-Gilchrist-Cousins trio

Even as a Laker fan I say no unless we get a STAR in return. An early 20 pick could be a great PG this year. Plus we've done a decent job drafting lately..

T-Wolves fans here! The T-Wolves doesn't have a 2012 draft pick which is a shame because the 2012 nba draft is stocked with a bunch of talented players. Having more talented players on your team is always a good think nothing wrong about it. The more young players the better the future will be for that team especially if the team is rebuilding.
