Durant wins all-star game MVP. No Lakers really shine, Bynum plays like 5 minutes and gets like 4 fouls and Kobe lollygags and chucks up shots. Maybe a spectacular dunk here and there, but I doubt it.

Lakers star Kobe Bryant was a no-show at Friday's All-Star media availability session in Orlando, Fla.

Members of the news media waited 45 minutes for the 14-time All-Star to arrive, then were told by a Lakers spokesperson that Bryant was ill.

No further explanation was provided.

Bryant arrived in Orlando late Thursday evening following the Lakers 100-85 loss to Oklahoma City, in which he had 24 points on seven-for-24 shooting, six rebounds and three assists.

No. Before the game it was agreed that Bynum would only play 3 to 5mins total due to the knee injection that he got yesterday that is part of the routine maintenance on the knee. TNT announced it during the first quarter and again when he went out of the game in the first.

That all star game summed up lebron. Stat sheet filler, streaky shooter, etc etc. Had 2 chances to go at old kobe. Given how lebron was playing he got iso and a chance to go at kobe, makes nice pass to dwill, gets it back, another iso and cross court turnover. He is just not in THE category.
