I thought the Knicks should have picked this guy up to back up Tyson Chandler. Can he still play? Hopefully the Blazers are willing to let Camby or Thomas go and send one of them to the Knicks.

Someone's a little butthurt

it doesnt bother me but it shows that the dude doesnt value winning

there is no good reason to choose a blazers squad who even if they make the playoffs will be no better then a 2nd round team over miami and chicago who are probably 1-2 in the favorites to win it all

You thought the Knicks should have picked him up, yet you are asking if he can still play? Shouldn't you have answered the later before wanting the former lol??

Just playing around though buddy, we do need a competent backup for Chandler come playoff time, as our interior defense does take a significant hit when Tyson is on the bench.

Being committed to your city, teammates, and fans seems to be a good reason to me.

Loyalty? What is loyalty when he was traded away BY the Blazers?
He must like the situation in Portland which is nice but obviously winning it all wasn't a big thing to him.

Side note: happy 1,000th post to myself lol.

As a Bulls fan I really respect Pryzbilla for staying true to the Blazers not going for the big market

You're right. But the reason i said that is because he was available for so long, I didn't know what the deal was with him. But now the Blazers got him, is this for insurance purposes or what? I'm surprised no one picked up James Posey? Don't know what's going on.

to say that the blazers are not a "winning" team is stupid. blazers can be one of the top 2 teams in the west if they get it going during the playoffs.

I wonder what took him so long to decide. I also didnt think he would play much with the Bulls or Heat.

If that's a remark toward Lebron Bosh or Boozer, there's a difference between being loyal and your franchise making horrible mistake after horrible mistake.

Good for him.

I hope his knees hold up. I would hate it for Portland fans for him to go down with another injury for that fans base.

That remark had actually nothing to do with those guys you mentioned. But it is nice to see guys want to return back to their team instead of jump shipping to another squad. It was nice to see when Grant Hill did it, Nash is staying committed, even Nene this past off season. It's something you don't see a lot of, but it gets me how guys who wanted that person on their team start saying stuff like "oh he must not care about winning" , or "whatever he's washed up" etc... Stuff like that is ridiculous.
