I’m tired of this [bleep],...........You can put that in the paper, I don’t give a [bleep]

http://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-hawks/hawks-mcgrady-fumes-over-1354879.html

The Hawks gave him a chance when no one else seems interested, now he's acting all out because he's not getting enough playing time. Someone remind him that Iverson can't find a team yet.

Your thoughts.........

This has been McGrady's healthiest season is ages - I do not believe it to be a coincidence.

I feel he deserves more playing time. He would take the Jamal Crawford role if I was coach but hey I'm not.

I would not mind if he came to the Lakers

In his defense he HAS been playing well. Can't say I blame him too much here.

He'd probably be Greg Oden state if he played the mins he expects(probably like +30 mins).

So best not to get him injured. Though something like 25 mins seems more than fair.

There are teams in the league that would play him no problem if Hawks don't wanna play him trade him. Especially if he's going to be bring Drama like this to the locker room.

He was playing great in the beginning of the season, I don't understand why he isn't getting more PT.

he's going to go the way of all egotistical cocky players who are past their primes and refuse to accept their diminish roles. Allen Iverson anyone?

he does accept his diminished role. He's not looking to be a superstar, he just wants to get more playing time, which he has earned IMO.

False. How early did the Hawks pick him up? Someone's mad the Heat didn't get him.

he should spend a year playing over seas and then come back and he'll love to sit on the bench and do nothing and get paid.

Lakers should offer a future 2nd round pick for him.

If I had listened to the people here who told me that TMAC's problems in Orlando and Houston were isolated incidents, I MIGHT be somewhat shocked by this.

It's a good thing I knew better.

what did he expect? :laugh2:

he needs to go to a title contender. it's the only way he'll be okay with playing a limited role.

I like T-Mac, I just wish he would shut up once in awhile. Unless he wants to go on another "its my fault" rant. That was a classic.

Kobe is enough

Seriously tho he would be a better fit on your team, you guys could use his post entree passes more than we need his PnR abilities.

Probably expected that playing well, winning, and being professional would keep both he and Teague getting minutes. They didn't count on a Hirich hard on regardless of whether he produces or not, as Kirk is basically getting guaranteed minutes since his return, probably because of his salary

Kobe, Tracy, and Iverson together would have gave guys a hard on in 2003 lol

T-Mac can still ball...his 14pt 4th quarter outburst aganist the heat earlier this year showed that. T-Mac might not be have his athletiscm like before but he still has great court awareness, long body & a good mid range/post up game. He is only 32 & can re-invent himself into the Grant Hill mold. Bring him back to Orlando!

I think he is playing so well right now because of the amount of minutes he is getting right now. No need to burnout and get a big increase in minutes

He just zip it and enjoy it..he`s not the player he was 10 years ago !
Atlanta gave him a chance to get back on court and play for 1 year or maybe more and this is how he`s repaying them? Smh ...
Ungrateful prick ..

LOL

Sounds like he wants them to release him so who cares, he was OK being a reserve but not a benchwarmer.

McGrady's offense isn't that great and his defense is horrible. Really doesn't have a position and his effort is usually half hearted.

He played defense yesterday on the Hawks and put forth the effort to run back on the fastbreak to strip James.

McGrady can definitely still play. He isn't what he used to be, but he's a pleasure to watch still. Not sure why he isn't getting more time with Atlanta struggling the way they are. They weren't going to sustain their success without Horford, but they can definitely play better than they have been the past 10 games.

McGrady is very competitive. Not surprising at all to hear him say this.
