I love tony parker and i'd say he's probaly a hall of famer but you've got to be kidding right? I'm not too sure what your generation is but how could he be the best pg of your generation when he played at the same time as jason kidd and steve nash?

He wanted to eat the cake, not look at it

Hawkeye15

of course he is. Its so much easier to make the Basketball HOF than it is the MLB or NFL. Don't know anything about hockey, so I can't speak on that one.

Yes he is. If Chauncey Billups is a future HOF, then so is Tony Parker.

He's 29 years old. Can we at least wait until he is 4-5 years away from retirement before deciding if he'll be a HOF?

In no way do I want this to happen, but if he went down tomorrow with a career ending injury then Yes he would make HOF.

It just shows how great of a career he has already had to be having this discussion already.

He's kinda like Rondo. Played with great players in Duncan & Ginobili just like RR plays with Allen, Pierce & Garnett.

Both are past NBA champs but difference is Parker has a MVP while RR is still hunting for his.

As for hall of fame, I don't think so. But I'm probably biased cause I'm a Suns fan and we hate all Spurs players.

Yea.. Your last sentence sums it up. Its the Basketball HOF. not just NBA.

3× NBA Champion (2003, 2005, 2007)
NBA Finals MVP (2007)
4× NBA All-Star (2006–2007, 2009, 2012)
All-NBA Third Team (2009)
NBA All-Rookie First Team (2002)
French League Rising Star Award (2001)
FIBA Europe Under-18 Champion (2000)
FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship MVP (2000)
European Player of the Year: Euroscar (2007)
L'Équipe Champion of Champions: French (2003)

Parker is a product of having Duncan on his team. He's definitely not good enough to get in the hall of fame.

Rondo has also never led his team the way Tony Parker is leading the Spurs this year.

what kind of moron cheats on eva longoria?

The kind of person who gets bored of having sex with a generic woman like Eva. Also the kind of man who can get quite a lot of girls that are just as good if not better than her. Does that answer it? lol

Finals MVP and multiple rings
He should make it.

Vincent33
02-18-2012, 08:46 PM
Probably, he was a key piece to 3 titles and was the finals MVP in their last championship run in 2007.

Does he had more than one allstar year? Yes? Well come on down the exclusive *cough*, I mean semi exclusive "Basketball" hall of fame. Take a seat next to that random woman's college basketball coach that no one has ever heard of.

He'll get in cuz its the basketball HOF. But in all honesty, if Duncan never played on the Spurs, they wouldn't have any of those titles and this question most likely never gets asked about Parker and Manu. But thats the way it goes. Good players are looked at as great ones when they have great players around them. Happens in all sports. If he played for the Bobcats his whole career, you think we'd still be having this discussion?

lakers4sho

Wade could get there but he is not a first ballot at this point IMO. Needs 5-7 more years of solid production. First ballot guys are guys like Jordan, Magic, Larry Bird, Malone etc. Is Wade in the conversation with these guys at this point?

EVERY player that has lead their team to a ring has entered at first ballot.

Yes, he is. There are many worse players than him who have made the hall. Parker's probably been one of the more underrated guys in the league his whole career too. Duncan and Ginobili get all the credit for their success but Parker has been crucial to that team.
