Doing all this being undrafted makes a strong case for him.

It would be insane if he wasn't. One of the top big defenders/rebounders in NBA history during his prime, and he was the anchor of a championship team in doing so.

Yes. Even though his offense was bad, his defense was amazing.

He'll get in since Rodman got in.

Rodman is a better defender, rebounder, and 5x champ.

True but Ben was still the best rebounder and defender in the league for a solid stretch. Plus he got a ring. He is in to me.

Has there been a case where a multiple DPOY candidate wasn't a HOf candidate ?

Yes. Well at least I definitely would vote him in.

Asked this in the last thread about this, but if he gets in, does Mutombo?

No. If he gets in it opens a can of worms.

The guy only had half a decade of elite play. If he had a longer prime, then yeah. It could be argued that he's the defensive Jeremy Lin, where the system was perfect for his skill-set. When he went to the Bulls, he was one of the biggest FA flops in recent history. Of course the Bulls were pretty idiotic signing him at the tail end of his prime.

Rodman had twice the production of Ben Wallace throughout his career. So I don't think that's a good enough argument.

To Ben's credit, it's hard to argue against 4-5 DPOY's.
