Just caught the replay - that Love foul is awful. No idea how he didn't get called for the initial foul, and then the stomp was gross, too. That's the last of Love for a few games. I'm really disappointed - I like Love, but that's ****ing weak.

Wow really? Was the stomp deliberate? Not watching the game.

Yeah. He hacked him across the arms/body to drop him to the floor, then as he stepped over him to run back down the floor he definitely kicked his foot downwards on Scola's chest/chin. It wasn't like he brought his leg all the way up and stomped him as hard as he could, and I'm not sure it was on the face like the announcers were saying, but it was definitely an intentional stomp. Refs didn't notice it, and it's getting really heated.

For those mentioning it - I understand there's a history between the guys, but that doesn't stop it being an awful play. The league office won't take it into account (at least not in a good way) either.

We have been begging for Lin to get playing time over Toney Douglas and he had the game of his life when our stars were tired.

I'm not even a Knicks fan or Lin fan, but this kid should have been given minutes when they had no PG A LONG time ago. The franchise player doesn't assume the dirty role. Hes just asking for a scrub player on the other team to cheap shot him.

I'm not saying Love doesn't deserve blame, but from the top view before the play happens watch Scola's left arm he actually catches and starts to trip/stop Love's leg (unintentionally) which is the one that then stomps on Scola.

Oefarmy2005
02-04-2012, 11:31 PM
If it was done intentionally by Love, they should at least fine him or suspend him, but if it's not, than it is just a missed foul call. It looked unintentional to me but I only got a couple of looks at it.

No, probably a 0% chance that they don't make any moves. They have the assets, I mean they can sign a vet like Arenas, they've got a 9 Million TPE for the Odom Trade, and 2 first rounders. If they trade one of their bigs too, they could bring back 3-4 solid players. I'm not saying superstars, but good players to even out the roster and fill the huge holes
