What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to being a sports fan?

For example, I hate when people argue that a team is better than another team based on one game.

being a clipper fan for 13 years and hearing the same **** season after season "well the Lakers have 16 banners up in staples center. how many do you all got?" Even if we are talking about Clippers beating the Bobcats i still hear that ****

I know my dad hates it when the players take out their mouth guards during timeouts or in between free throws.

on a more serious note, I gotta agree with the past one... people who constantly bring up their teams past title in order to try an win a conversation on a team's record in the season... or people who say that a NBA title automatically makes you better than another guy... I'm sorry, but Mark Madsen is not better than Lebron James :pity:

You think this forum is bad... you should go to the NFL forum when the Jets lose a game :D

When titles automatically mean you're better, even though talent wise, you have a case.

When people act as if they are winners because their franchise won a title years before they were born.

When people press the panic button so early in the season..had to change my answer because I didn't realize this was in the NBA forum(accessed through the PSD homepage)

People who claim to be fans but know very little about the teams history and current roster other then big name players.

Warrior fans thinking about rebuilding the roster by trading starters for draft picks and expiring contracts rather than trading to get better.. completely ignoring the fact that the franchise has been rebuilding for the past two decades.

Bandwagons dont bug me, Fairweathers drive me crazy dont just root for the hot team then move on you Dbag! but what really gets me is someone wearing apparel of a team thats not even playing at the Arena that night, like were supposed to care what team you root for.

Fans that think they are experts about the game of basketball and all the NBA Teams out there. If your so good how come your typing on a forum and not being the GM of a basketball team.

Also people stating things about other teams other then there own when they really dont know the team at all. They hear one thing on espn and all of a sudden there an expert on that team.

I can't stand some Bulls fans after a loss. Don't even want to imagine NY fans reacting to a loss.

Although I should point out I'm a Craptor's fan. So if Heat/Bulls are millionaires :catfight: each other, then I'm a homeless man, blaming the subway cart for costing me the divorce and warning that the Reptilians are going to come back from Saturn and take over the world.
