Dirk Nowitzki on his future, Dirk said that Ill play for at least two more years. Afterward, Id like to stay in the basketball world. I see myself as a teacher to the kids, but I still dont know if Ill do it here in Texas or in Germany. Ball In Europe

dirk seems to be satisfied winning his ring and thats enough for him. This is just my opinion. i remember when all the old farts on the 07 heat got satisfied.

He's talking about the 2007 Heat with Wade, Shaq, Tawn, Zo, GP, J-Will that got swept by Bulls in first rd.

I think he can play at least 4 more years if he wanted.

yeah, your opinion is the right one among many peoples thought's, i don't think it's that he doesn't give a ****, but the fire isn't as bright as it used to be for him, he now has what he wanted. And you can't shake that feeling if you feel that way obviously, and yes he could play another 4-5 years the way his style of play is.

He's content with his ring, he'll make the HOF and go down as an alltime great... The best 7-foot shooter is what he'll be remembered as.

Right now, he's adding a bitter taste to his career. Needs a complete turnaround. With this shape, attitude, work ethic and will, he better should call it quits instead of being a shadow of himself.

Lately it is definitly too much talking by Dirk. He's not afraid of any team in the west, yeah but also no one in the league is afraid of him anymore except fantasy owners. Better walk the talk and don't drop from a league top 5 player arguable to a top 50 now, from a year to the next. Get back there and we're talking again.

The guy just came back a few games off and is still not 100%. I don't know why anyone is questioning his work ethic.

He doesn't rely on athleticism so he could definitely play more than 2 years.

I know lol. He needed rest. He played into the Finals, then played for Germany. He had no conditioning because there was no training camp and has no lift in his knees. A few bad games and idiots in this thread questioning "whether the fire is still there". PUH-LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE. Let's be realistic.

I think him saying that is a big blow to them getting D-Will and I never thought they would clear up enough cap space to get D-will and Dwight

Wow. That is a serious scare if you are a Dallas fan. If they strike out on Dwight/Deron, It's rebuilding time.
