mmmm, they should do that more often to "phisical" players, obviously only if refs would play along and call the travelling.

Thats because Blake has no post moves other than using the explosive first step. He doesn't slowly back people down.

Rick Marhorn easily

Also the greatest chair pull of all time was done to Shaq. Everyone knows how he broke the backboard, but a few plays before that they pulled the chair on him and he damn near ended up in the crowd

Any player who uses that move deserves to be punched in the face. How about playing some defense instead of trying to injure the guy.

^^^^^^^^ this

I'm not sure, but I think Mahorn may have invented the move. Unless Russell did it against Chamberlain.

How but trying to get some finesse to your game instead of charging like a bull on dope?

Trying to injury the guy? are you serious?

Rick Mahorn was AWESOME at this. Here's one from him. I remember once he did to Shaq twice in one game and on the second time Shaq was looking at the official waiting for them to call something on Mahorn and the official just shrugged.

The thing is, when you pull the chair on somebody, it illustrated to the officials that they are creating an offensive foul. These guys are throwing their bodies at the defenders rather than using their footwork to create space.

always funny to see it happen though. And guys are always jawing about it to the guy that fell after the play. lol

What are you talking about? The offensive player is creating a foul by throwing their weight into the defender. If the defender knows its coming and they move out of the way, its no fault of their's if the guy falls over. The offensive player should be using his foot work to create space, not their body weight.

I remember Malone in his last year in the league doing the very same to Tim Duncan in the 04 WCSF. He was the best at doing it IMO.

I love the pulling the chair, one of the most underrated defensive plays easily. Al used to do it as a Knick too, one of the few times he contributed defensively.
