He already made it out of the first round.

He can only get out of the first round when he's not the main guy.

Meh not too much, he isn't the franchise guy that he was on all of the other 1st round defeats.

it doesn't tmac is the 5th best player on that team, not the first...

If he does, he belongs in GOAT discussion with Michael James

T-mac is what he is

None. They've made it out without him. It won't be because of him if they do this year.

JB seriously needs some TMac counseling

I think he's talking about T-Mac getting out of the 1st round since he has never done it before (as an active player).

I don't think this will mean much since T-Mac is pretty much near the end of his career... He needed to do this during the days where he was the man or go to guy on the team. Now he's just coming off the bench so it won't be special really at all if he makes it out of the 1st round.

Tmac still plays basketball? I never really heard from him after he had 3 good seasons in Orlando.

#3 was one of the biggest breaks any NBA franchise ever got.

Meh.

He had 3 superstar seasons in Orlando and spent the rest of his career until now shooting just over 40%.

He peaked at 23 years old.

itd mean nothing since he is now a bench guy who plays 15 mins so his role is pretty meaningless

JB, do you EVER stop with all this T-Mac garbage?

Honestly dude. It's getting SO old.

Yeah that Tmac was an amazing player to watch, no weaknesses offensively.

PS his low turnover marks despite his playmaking responsibilities helped offset his low % from the field.

He did peak early, sadly a result of injuries but what does it say that even in his decline he was an All NBA performer with decent MVP cred

lol the guy that created this thread is one of the biggest T-Mac homers on PSD, and is ultimately one of the biggest LeBron haters on PSD.

How does this happen?

Definitely not. I don't dislike Lebron, I dislike all the bandwagon fans of his who all of a sudden because Heat fans in one summer when they already had a star player in Wade who carried the franchise to it's only title. It's like once Lebron went there, everything Wade did got dismissed.

you mean how would it reflect on his 15 minute a game?

3mikee_
01-30-2012, 06:10 PM
It doesn't really reflect on him at all imo.. but I think if the Hawks were to make it out of the first round Tmac would have to be a big part of that considering they lost Horford and who knows when he's going to be back and how healthy they will be.

KingPosey
01-30-2012, 06:28 PM
It depends on if he plays a big part in the series or not.

But really, it just means he is finally on a team that isnt complete ****, or destroyed by injury. The stats speak for themselves. In the Playoffs, TMac is in ELITE company.

Look at the rosters he has had, no help what so ever. Darrell Armstrong is his #2?! And then in Houston they were always short key players to injury.

He instantly becomes a HoF and the GOAT along side Vince Carter.

SteveNash

If it takes him being the 8th best player on the team or being injured to get out of the 2nd round? Poorly, very poorly.
