I'm asking this is because Paul Pierce in absence of Rajon Rondo running the show as point-forward. He has done a terrific job in 4game winning streak 26ppg 8.8ast.

Can you name others like Paul Pierce or Lebron James?

You mean non guards in general? Plenty of 2's can; Wade, Kobe, Monta (if he/they choose to), Harden, Ginobili, Joe Johnson, etc. From the 3 Melo can and does on occasion.

Iggy is the first to come to mind. He has done it for a few years in Philadelphia. Surprisingly, Anthony Parker has shown "some" success in this spot over the years.

I think he meant guys who'll look to be a distributor and stuff.

Like take the job of the PG and set team mates up.

Prince years ago. He really destroys the flow of the offense with these young'ns.

No on Melo, hes being forced to do it but I haven't been impressed with the results, there was a moment with Denver when I thought he was finally coming around after GK drilling him to play more like Tmac but hes not a top of the key attacker.

Iguodala.
The guy passes more than any other wing in the league and has the 2nd highest career apg behind only Lebron.

I get played at SG a lot. I was drafted by the Suns then demanded a trade to the Grizzlies halfway through my first season.

So I had to play SG beside Nash and Conley.

Why do people keep mentioning Andre Igoudala?

He doesn't run the offense at all. Monta Ellis is more of a PG than Igoudala.

Anyway, I'd say Wade, Kobe, Hedo, and Tyreke.

What makes you think so? I recall an article last year where Doug Collins states something among the lines of deciding to make the switch from Jrue to Iggy in season to run the o.

His passing efficiency is absurd so he still can fit the bill.

Too obvious but I think these kind of questions vary.

Like some list scorers like Kobe/Tyreke

:speechless:

Do you watch Philly basketball? On more occasions than not Iggy is the one being asked to initiate our offense. IMO he isn't particularly great at doing this in the crunch but during the course of the game he does this better than most natural PGs out there.

Iguodala is WAY better at running an offense than Tyreke however.

Definietly not Carmelo as Knick fans have come to find out.

I don't think anyone can do it as consistent as Lebron. Pierce's 4 games are great and all, but can you point to a single season where he has done this at an elite level? I'm asking.
