They will and they should.

They will make the playoffs, yes. The Bucks will now fade, and the Knicks will start making shots at some point, and Melo will be healthier at some point.

Its the east. You don't even have to be .500 to make it. Again why I find it funny that anyone thinks the east has caught the west strength wise.

Maybe but they should. They clearly have the talent but I guess that always doesn't translate.

The only teams I can see passing them for 8th is CLE or NJ. CLE just handled them with ease 2 days ago and if Lopez can get back soon the Nets can easily make a run.

What will we see? A top 4 seed like a lot of knick fans predicted? Title Contender?

Pls elaborate...

Finally a different thread on the main forum!

For a team thats "so bad" NY sure does garner alot of attention and hate around here...

As a Knick fan I don't spend time worrying about teams like MIL, TOR....etc...no offense to those fans, just don't get why people worry so much about a team thats so bad at the moment?

i would say yes but you will have a much better idea around mid February

if they start to suck i would tell my players to bomb the season
like the cavs did last year and try to get a top 5 pick...lol

because other wise the picks going to houston and we dont get no new rooks

I will say, if I'm a MIA or CHI fan, I would hope that NY starts to turn it around soon and that Melo & Davis come back soon and NY gets to 4-6th seed.

The last thing MIA or CHI want to see is NY make it as the 7th or 8th seed, that would not be an easy 1st round matchup, especially if Kmart really ends up signing in NY as reports indicate is his first choice.

well they were suppose to be some sort of super team, not at the level of miami but them actually being this bad is quite comical.

I think the Knicks should, especially once they start getting average play at the point guard position. No one is orchestrating the offense properly, Bibby is too washed up (still a good shooter,) Douglas is far from a PG, and Shumpert is a rookie combo guy still learning the position. This team was built more for the latter end of the season rather than the start of it, and hopefully if Baron makes a strong return they could be a formidable opponent.

I will say though it is quite scary seeing what the Knicks record is and that we're almost through a third of the season, especially since our schedule hasn't been too difficult up to this point.

It's not hard to make the playoffs in the East. A more valid question would be whether the Knicks will have a winning record.

They are 2 games behind where MIA was at this time last year.

Only MIA had a full training camp & 8 preseason games.

NY had 1 week of camp and 2 preseason games.

Say what you want about last year, but even last year NY had a grand total of 3 or 4 practices after that trade. And Billups immediately went down after 2 or 3 games. This team was thrown together with no camp, no PG and extremely limited practice.

True but on the internet what is more fun attacking a struggling team with a huge fan base or attacking a struggling team with maybe 2 or 3 posters ? PSD Is not the same anymore to much bating.trolling and sarcasm.

We will have to wait and see but if they don't make the playoffs it has to be one of the biggest fails in NBA history.

no, they ended up having to cancel it, even if they had been able to though, a few guys playing together and practicing doesn't compare to a 6-8 week training camp with coaches and 15-17 players, and 8 preseason games.

Don't want to make excuses but the truth is this team has had no time to train or practice together, and Melo getting hurt after the 6-4 start certainly isn't helping.

Hell they are even having a hard time finding Baron Davis practice time with the condensed schedule. He's only been able to practice once. So D'antoni is now saying he'll have to "practice" in actual games in limited minutes since NY doesn't have much practice time coming up.

Yes and lose to the Heat in the first round. Then keep repeating this until Melo and Amare retire without rings.
