Using this list here.

http://forums.prosportsdaily.com/showpost.php?p=18562518&postcount=1

Pick one player that is not in the top 10 all time to add to your team and replace your 3rd best player on the team with them. Also don't use any current players on this list simply because they are already on a team.

For instance,

Bulls I'd replace either Carlos Boozer or Joakim Noah and use either Charles Barkley at PF for Boozer or David Robinson at Center for Joakim Noah.

Lineup
PG Rose
SG Rip
SF Deng
PF Charles Barkley -- Removed Carlos Boozer
C Noah

Yeah, he's clearly not.

For the Hawks, I'd remove Josh Smith and add David Robinson.

Ok, well perception is that Tyson Chandler is the 3rd best player on the Knicks. Although in actuality, it's probably been Amare this year. But I'll sub out Chandler.

Could go either 2 ways- sub him out for the Admiral
Shumpert
Fields
Melo
Amare
Admiral

or sub him out for some backcourt balance moving Amare to C
Oscar or Jerry West
Fields
Melo
Harrelson
Amare

If I'm subbing out Amare, I take KG probably. Or again, West or Oscar and put Harrelson at the 4.

The magic's third best player comes off the bench ,IMO, but its hard to say who the third best player is. If were going off this season its probably Hedo after Dwight and Anderson.

Warriors-

Curry
Monta
Wright
Garnett
Biedrins

I think Garnett in his prime would punk the whole Warriors roster into becoming good defenders.

For the Lakers, right now I'm still going to give the edge to Gasol over Bynum.

Derek Fisher
Kobe Bryant
Matt Barnes
Pau Gasol
Patrick Ewing

I think he'd fit in ok.. also would solve our PG problem without even solving it. lmao

It depends on who you would consider the third best player on the Rockets, but I'd go with either:

PG Kyle Lowry
SG Jerry West (instead of Kevin Martin)
SF Chandler Parsons
PF Luis Scola
C Samuel Dalembert

or

PG Kyle Lowry
SG Kevin Martin
SF Chandler Parsons
PF Moses Malone
C Samuel Dalembert

West would give the Rockets the closer they haven't had since McGrady and Yao's decline, but Malone would give the Rockets arguably the greatest rebounder in NBA history and an elite post presence. I think I'd give the Malone lineup the slightest of edges, because it would give the Rockets a great frontcourt duo and an extremely efficient low post scorer and defender. Also, Malone played for Houston during the peak of his career, so there's that...

For the Suns, their two best players are Nash and Gortat. After that, I'd say Grant Hill, despite how ****** he's played this year so far.

Current Lineup:

PG Steve Nash
SG Ronnie Price (-_-)
SF Grant Hill
PF Markieff Morris
C Marcin Gortat

I want to get rid of Price, but he's not the third best, so... to replace Hill, I picked Erving.

PG Steve Nash
SG Ronnie Price (okay, please, bench him for Redd at least...)
SF Julius Erving
PF Markieff Morris
C Marcin Gortat

Well. Not too bad, I think. Obviously needs an upgrade at the SG, but other than that...

Take out either Amare or Chandler (based on purely performance from this year it's Amare) and throw in Isiah Thomas just for the purpose of irony.

Melo
Harrelson

A previous poster chose Tyson Chandler as the third best player on the Knicks this season and that is certainly valid but I'd make an argument for Iman Shumpert being that guy. As much as I would hate to have to give him up, he would be the one to get the ax.

So, I will sub out Iman Shumpert for Oscar Robertson to take over at the point. Here would be the Knicks new lineup:

C: Tyson Chandler
PF: Amare Stoudemire
SF: Carmelo Anthony
SG: Landry Fields
PG: Oscar Robertson

Shumpert is not the third best, unless you don't consider Amare 2nd or 3rd best.

Well the ideal point for me was if I could find a relative argument at all in order to keep Chandler on the roster rather than having to sub out him or Amare in order to get the Knicks biggest need, a legit PG which Oscar certainly would have fit the bill. It was certainly a bit of a stretch but I ran with it :p
