Would Clippers still make that trade and pair the two?

of course not, what a silly question to ask.they'd have the best record so would see no need to take on baron or his contract

They also had the best record when they took Jamison & Shaq...

And its funny you say that because the Cavaliers suggested the trade in an attempt to KEEP Lebron in the offseason but Clippers denied it and at that time they didnt even ask for the first rounder. All they asked for was Baron and"his contract" lol.. So if they revisited the trade it probably would have been the same outcome smh

no. NBA wouldn't have felt sorry for them and given them number 1 draft pick.

If the cavs traded for Amare that year they probably could have won it all. A cheap trade for Jamison ruined it.

U think after all the Clippers been thru that they felt sorry for another team? They did to make Griffin the leader

Not to be a dick, but you can't be serious.. There's no way in hell. Lebron staying in Cleveland would dramatically skew what has gone on there since he left.

No way LeBron stays in Cleveland and they trade away Mo Williams. They played well together minus Mo's vanishing act in the playoffs.

Once again the Cleveland Cavaliers TRIED to make the trade in order to keep Lebron.. I dont see why people forget that

No chance... If anything in the NBA is rigged, it's the draft lottery.

Kyrie is there because Lebron left and the Cavaliers sucked.

I don't think the Cavs would of traded Mo Williams and Jamario Moon for Baron Davis and the Clippers lottery pick if LeBron had stayed.

agreed. this whole premise is dumb. They wouldnt have gotten irving if lebron stayed bc their record wouldnt have sucked so badly. bam. Thread over with

This is like with some Bulls fans saying that we should of kept LA.

Stupid question. But lets play along: No, Stern wouldn't have rigged the draft in the Cavs favor. It still would've been rigged though.

not even close....thing about the math....if gilbert executed the trade for stoudemire....lebron would have stayed...on top of that....irving would have been in utah or minnesota....most likely utah by now
