keep in mind that gordon's agent is rob pelinka who is also D. Fish's agent and was heavly involved with advising Fish through the negotiations.

Might not happen if stern doesnt want to put any money past this year for the next owner to have a clean slate, but he should do ot

he might not give him an extension, and match any offer in FA.

So does Dell Demps have to do up a contract extension and then get it reviewed by David Stern before presenting it to Eric Gordon?

They should trade him to the raptors.

What I have heard is that Gordon's agent is speaking directly with Stern on the deal because he is the one ultimately calling the shots.

Is it? What if another team bids higher than expected and drives up Gordon's price?

Drives it up from what? Gordon will want the max, or close to it, to sign an extension now. He knows Indiana will likely give him a lot of money to play at home. Not like Indiana can drive the price up much higher than a nearly max offer.
